She left the whole Senate floor speechless…
Judge Amy Coney Barrett was recently asked by Senator John Cornyn if she was using any notes to help her in answering questions that were being “spat at her during day two of the confirmation hearings.”
Cornyn said, “Most of us have multiple notebooks and notes and books, things like that in front of us. Can you hold up what you’ve been referring to in answering our questions?”
Barrett then proceeded to hold up a blank notepad.
Cornyn then asked, “Is there anything on it?”
Barrett responded saying, “The letterhead that says United States Senate.”
