Mitt Romney Desperately Tries To Save Himself, FAILS Miserably

Does he really think anyone believes this?

According to Breitbart News, Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) desperately tried to lie to Americans saying that he “agonized” over the responsibility that came with his decision.

“Well, I took my responsibility exactly as the Constitution defines it and as the oath I took requires it,” Romney told KSL’s Doug Wright, again citing his oath before God, “which is what I was sworn before God to apply impartial justice as a Senate juror.”

I agonized over the responsibility that ultimately would come my way,” Romney said. “I hoped beyond hope that I would not have to find him guilty of what had been alleged.”

“They didn’t want to provide any information for those of us who were having a responsibility to provide impartial justice,” Romney said.

He also attributed his decision to “family tradition,” citing his dad, whom he described as “a person who stood by his word and did exactly what he thought was right regardless of the consequence.”

“And that is a family tradition which I hold dear,” he said.

“I did believe that I was doing exactly what I swore I would do,” he added. You can read the full article here.

I guess it is a good thing mittens isn’t a lawyer so there is little risk of him ever becoming a judge – with his skewed views, particularly on what is evidence and/or ‘proof’ – can you imagine how he would ‘rule’ from the bench?

Mitt is nothing more than a thin skinned butthurt RINO with an axe to grind! His guilty determination was influenced by emotion with absolutely no rational thought as to the validity of the hearsay evidence presented during the house impeachment trial. His traitorous guilty vote flies in the face of overwhelming admissable evidence to the contrary! Mitt, get a life because you have proven to me that your political leanings do not coincide with a conservative worldview. Politically you are dead to me. Just sayin’ ….
