Well, that didn’t take long. As liberals have been constantly feeding her fire on social media, now Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez thinks she runs the government.
Speaking at a Girls Who Code town hall event, the freshman congresswoman is now telling people that she is “the boss.”
“You know what? I don’t care anymore. I don’t care anymore, because again, I’m at least trying, and they’re not,” AOC said. “So the power is in the person who’s trying, regardless of the success. If you’re trying, you’ve got all the power, you’re driving the agenda, you’re doing all this stuff.”
Apparently Ocasio-Cortez was set off about the barrage of criticism she has received for the proposed “Green New Deal.”
“Like I just introduced Green New Deal two weeks ago and it’s created creating all of this conversation. Why? Because no one else has even tried,” she fumed. “So people are like ‘oh it’s unrealistic, oh it’s vague, oh it doesn’t address this little, minute thing.’ And I’m like you try, you do it.”
That’s when she went completely sideways and declared, “So until you do it, I’m the boss!” Adding, “How about that?!”
It seems the truth of the socialist agenda is coming out. After introducing laughable legislation that would do irrevocable harm to the country, extreme leftists are willing to just declare themselves in charge in response to people disagreeing with them. A dangerous and worrying sentiment.
