Graham’s Plan If Kavanaugh Isn’t Confirmed

Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) claims that while he is confident that Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh will indeed be confirmed, if he is not, “I would re-nominate him, and I would take this case to the American people.”

Graham believes the FBI will not find any real evidence against Kavanaugh that will change the opinion of Senator Jeff Flake’s (R-AZ) and that Senators Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) and Susan Collins (R-ME) are doing due diligence.

Graham added, “Now, what would happen if something really weird did occur and we’re one vote short? Here’s what I would tell the president, I would appeal the verdict of the Senate to the ballot box. This good man should not be destroyed. If you legitimize this process by one vote short, woe be unto the next person. I’d hate to be the next person nominated. I would feel horrible that we destroyed Kavanaugh. So what would I do? I would re-nominate him, and I would take this case to the American people, and I’d ask voters in Indiana and Missouri and North Dakota and other places where Trump won saying who he would nominate if he got to be president and see if the voters want to appeal the verdict of their senator.”

Good. It is past time for all this backroom skulduggery to be brought out in the open. Keep at it until he is confirmed. No more borking.

I totally agree with Senator Graham . This should go for a vote now because the Americans people have been watching this and there is no reason why this man should not be voted to be our next Supreme Court Justice. The Democrats have embarrassed our nation with the way they have brought this down to a Democrat/Republican fight, not an American decision. Democrats drag it on for their own political party, not caring about us, the people. If he is not accepted, RE-NOMINAT him again!!! We want Dr Kavanaugh as our next Supreme Court Justice!!!

That is an interesting idea, Senator Graham. Don’t always agree with you, but have to admit there is some merit to the idea.

My question to Senator Graham and all the Hypocrites in Congress both Democrats and Republicans. Where were you when Judge Merrick Garland was Nominated to be voted on for the Supreme Court? It’s really sad how partisan party politics is destroying this country. All you so called conservatives are no better than the Liberals you are so quick to criticize. Politicians are only concerned about power and money ?. Wake up America and stop being used like a puppet.

That being said, you’ve must’ve seen the following quote:
“Mr. President, where the nation should be treated to a consideration of constitutional philosophy, all it will get in such circumstances is a partisan bickering and political posturing from both parties and from both ends of Pennsylvania Avenue. As a result, it is my view that if a Supreme Court Justice resigns tomorrow, or within the next several weeks, or resigns at the end of the summer, (the President) should consider following the practice of a majority of his predecessors and not — and not — name a nominee until after the November election is completed.” Must be Mitch McConnell, right?
Wrong. Senator Joe Biden in 1992.

I’m an Indiana Hoosier. I’ll guaranty we would vote for Kavanaugh, “and”, we will vote that commie/liberal Donnelly out of office. Mike Braun for Senate!
