Ted Cruz Busted On Secret Tape Admitting These Are Fake

In a secret recording, Ted Cruz admitted that he doesn’t really believe what he is trying to sell to Republican voters. If he’s elected president, a Cruz administration would not fight same-sex marriage. He also backed off of his positions on issues like abortion and Common Core.

Politico released more of the secret tape of Ted Cruz talking to donors at New York fundraiser, and it confirmed what many have long suspected: Senator Cruz is faking it to get elected.

Here’s the report from Politico:

“During the question period, one of the donors told Cruz that gay marriage was one of the few issues on which the two disagreed. Then the donor asked: ‘So would you say it’s like a top-three priority for you – fighting gay marriage?’

“‘No,’ Cruz replied. ‘I would say defending the Constitution is a top priority. And that cuts across the whole spectrum – whether it’s defending [the] First Amendment, defending religious liberty.’

“Soothing the attendee without contradicting what he has said elsewhere, Cruz added: ‘People of New  York may well resolve the marriage question differently than the people of Florida or Texas or Ohio… That’s why we have 50 states – to allow a diversity of views. And so that is a core commitment.'”

A well-known Republican operative not affiliated with a 2016 campaign said via e-mail when sent Cruz’s quote:

Wow. Does this not undermine all of his positions? Abortion, Common Core – all to the states? … Worse, he sounds like a slick D.C. politician – says one thing on the campaign trail and trims his sails with NYC elites. Not supposed to be like that.”

It looks like TrusTED just got Bus-TED for saying one thing to voters on the campaign trail… but something entirely different to big-money donors in private. In New York of all places – and didn’t ol’ Ted criticize those “New York values?” Guess they aren’t a big deal when they’re giving him piles of campaign cash.

Do you still trust and believe in Ted Cruz after you’ve read this report?

No I never trusted Cruz, I already heard this months ago about Ted Cruz.. Cruz is a Globalist just like Clinton, Kasich.. They are running for self enrichment by the donors.. they aren’t running to serve the American People, it’s quite the opposite..

    1. Chuck

So, as I understand it Cruz’s desire to return to the founding principles of our nation should be trumped (no pun intended) by a strong central government that dictates YOUR moral/ethical/social beliefs. The President can set the tone and that has a powerful influence, but these social matters are up to the states and to the people as per the founders. Be careful what you all wish for. You may get it.

      1. jaybird

Well I guess we can choose NWO/UN. Trump has said he gets some of his foreign policy info from a man he “greatly respects”, RICHARD HAAS – CURRENT PRESIDENT OF .CFR.

      2. justanagent

Almost all of the federal government’s encroachment into matters that more properly lie within the province of the individual states is based on a very liberal and flawed interpretation of “promote the general welfare” in the preamble to the Constitution and on article 1 section 8, especially the last paragraph. All of the amendments which were added later supersede whatever was written before. In other words the 10th amendment is the last word in defining where federal authority ends and state sovereignty begins. Sadly it will probably take an article 5 convention of states or another American revolution to reign in a government that has abused and overstepped its legitimate authority. I would prefer the former to the latter. Given the level of ignorance the vast majority of our citizens exhibit regarding our Constitution I am forced to conclude that it is no longer being taught in our public schools. “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” Hosea 4:6

      3. Michael

The Founders got it right and Cruz knows it. Trump never mentions the Constitution because he is an elitest liberal who thinks like Obama he can decide above the law. Trump is a very dangerous person lets not have buyers remorse again! Go Cruz!

        1. John Lane

Cruz is a fucking Canadian, not Natural born, he is ineligible to run,as per the US Constitution, WTF! Just cause Obummer was not properly Vetted, all these Foreign Nationals think that they can be President of the USA!! I DON’T THINK SO!!!BESIDES,HE WAS A CANADIAN NATIONAL, WHEN HE GOT INTO US POLITICS, AND HE DID IT ILLEGALLY!!! HE SHOULD BE INDICTED, AND DEPORTED!!

    2. jaybird

One of TRUMP’s foreign policy team members is a past employee of CFR and another is a past employee of the Hudson Institute (front for NWO). TRUMP has said in one of his debates that he gets some of his foreign policy info from ” A MAN HE GREATLY RESPECTS”, RICHARD HAAS-CURRENT PRESIDENT OF CFR.

At least Cruz has a National Policy Team (security for the US) that are from the Center for Security Policy organization. Frank Gaffney, Jr. the President of it and approx. 4 others. that exposed the Muslim Brotherhood in the Obama Administration. We need someone in the administration that will fight against them in-acting Sharia policies and having “no go zones”.

Neither of our candidates are totally clean, so we choose as best we can and we have to choose because we cannot stay home and let Killary finish selling our country to foreign countries or the ‘DICKTATORS” of the UN and tearing it apart. If any of us stay home, we have sealed our fate and the future of our children.

    3. Michael

You are delusional along with egomaniac Trump who should not be allowed to become President because he needs psychiatric care before he hurts himself and half of the world. We are a laughing stock because of this bafoon.

  2. HDMania

All the insiders are liars..say anything to get elected..time to let an outsider to take care of business..Trump 2016

    1. Merrlyn Marko

But Trump is telling the truth, because he really doesn’t care if he’s elected or not. Sure. Dream on.

  3. Robert Trebes

“‘No,’ Cruz replied. ‘I would say defending the Constitution is a top priority…LOL…Then ‘Ted’ should not be running for the Presidential Office:

Well, if the ‘Power Brokers’ who control the RNC continue to disregard the will of the Republican Party voters and crown either Cruz or Rubio or a combination of both and make either of them the ‘Official Candidate’ of the Republican Party, the RNC legal problems are just beginning! There is a group in Orange County, California that is setting up a ‘Legal’ challenge to the US Constitutional Eligibility of a non ‘Natural Born Citizen’ being made the party candidate for President…The RNC will be sued for not being able to ‘Certify’ the Constitutional Eligibility of their candidate and Cruz and/or Rubio not being eligible. This law suit can not be filed until an ineligible candidate has been named because this group will not have ‘Standing’ with the court until this happens. The main legal cause of action is due to the ‘Definition’ of a ‘Natural Born Citizen’ as defined by the US Supreme Court on several occasions!…

CDR Charles Kerchner (Ret) best explains the categories of citizenship according to Article II of the U.S. Constitution. They are:

    Original Citizen ‘Grandfather’ Clause (GFC)

Natural Born Citizen Clause (NBC) The Natural Born Citizenship (NBC) clause status, per natural law and the law of nations, and relevant U.S. Supreme Court rulings, such as Venus (1814), Minor v Happersett (1875), and Perkins v Elg (1939), is determined by whether or not both parents were Citizens of the United States (via birth or naturalization) at the time of the birth of their child in the USA– (not where the parents were born.) Both parents must be U.S. Citizens when their child is born in America for the child to be a “natural born Citizen.” It is important to note that until recent times foreign born women gained naturalized status upon marrying a U.S. Citizen husband or upon the naturalization of the husband under the legal concept of citizenship fusion in a marriage. The Citizenship of the wife was always legally fused to that of her husband until more recent times.

If neither of the above, Kerchner argues the person occupying the White House is Seated by fraud.

    Kerchner writes:

“The natural born Citizen clause was placed in the U.S. Constitution in regards to eligibility for President by the founders of our nation and framers of our Constitution specifically to bar persons in the future with foreign influence and foreign citizenship on them at/by birth from ever becoming the Commander-in-Chief of our military after the founding generation had passed away. It was placed in the Constitution for future national security reasons. (Reasons we see materializing today with Obama.) The founding generation was exempt from the natural born Citizen clause in Article II Section 1 of the Constitution. The natural born Citizen clause only applied to future generations of those who would be President upon the passing of the founding generation. These facts were stated in writing in a 1787 letter from John Jay to George Washington, Presiding Officer of the Constitutional Convention.”

Thanks for the posting, Robert. Important stuff.

For the record, for anyone who wants to see for themselves what the definition for a NBC was that the constitutional Framers were going by: Google E. de Vattel, ‘The Law of Nations,’ Book One, C. XIX, Sect. 212. There it is, as clear as day.

Time to get back to the Constitution on this matter. As in others.

          1. Rattlerjake

If someone would have done this kind or research when Ovomit was running and filed a lawsuit based on it, we would not have suffered through 8 years of an illegal in the White House, and it likely would have gone in front of a more conservative SCOTUS (without Kagan, Sotomayor, with Scalia, and before ZRoberts became a turncoat), and Natural Born Citizen would not be an issue today.

          2. used_to_be_a_liberal

Although I do agree with you, and your information is correct, we seem to be talking to a brick wall. Obama got in because of political correctness, self-imposed guilt feelings, tolerance to over-tolerance, feeeeelings, and of course the race card.
Unfortunately, now that the door has been opened, it will be next to impossible to stop Cruz based solely on the birth thing. I do not believe that there is a court in the country that would say no he can’t. If one did then the challenge would ultimately lead to Obama, and to those who put him there. The mess would be overwhelming, and yes. I would like to see it happen. But will we, no, not likely. We know that the G O P RINOs do not want Trump or Cruz, you would think that they would use that to try to get him out of the race, but even they won’t touch this thing or bring it up.

          3. Rattlerjake

            Well said, my thoughts exactly.

I really don’t think that any of it will matter in a few months. Our economy is getting ready to collapse, and when it does it will make the Great depression look like a picnic. Even if Trump were elected, there is nothing that he can do about the debt and bubble that is getting ready to burst. But you can’t give up the fight for what’s right until the end.

          4. Arizona Don

Your right Jake. I don”t see any other way it can go. Obama has set this up by printing (trillions of dollars) money and no one except some of the economists even see where we are headed. Obama was elected with the goal of eliminating the US out of the picture so there would be a clear path to the NWO. That was his designated duty set forth by the puppet master establishment (the business round table, chamber of commerce and the big fat cat bankers).

Times of strife set the stage for nations to be taken over. That is why hitler was able to get a foot hold in Germany in the late 20’s and 30’s. Many of the same tactics he used are now being used by obama and that very establishment while we, the once loyal American citizen watch the other hand. Looking for a handout!

          5. jaybird

There is still time for them to file a lawsuit against Obummer, why doesn’t the Orange County, CA group do it. Could they all be Demorats???????

          6. Rattlerjake

There are still multiple suits pending. But we are at the mercy of the government who OWNS the judicial system. It takes time to compile the arguments to initiate the legal action, it takes money, it takes repetitive filing because of the corrupt judges who dismiss all of these cases on bogus technicalities. The government has unlimited assets, we don’t; and they have all the time in the world, we don’t.

          7. Arizona Don

Have you ever asked yourself why are so many politicians and establishment people so afraid (and it is fear) of Donald Trump? What has he done that is so different then what others have done in the past? The answer is of course nothing that has not been done before except a very few things. Self fund and ignore political correctness. So why should that develop into so much hate? It is not what he has done in the past, politally, it is what they think he will do in the future. They see him as principled and able to tear down their empire and do not like what they see. If that were not true why would the Koch brothers be talking about hillary not being such a bad choice? Have they ever supported a democrat before? No they have been the democrats worse enemy.

It is great to rely on Donald Trump to fix everything but realistically it may take a civil war in order to overcome this determined foe. Furthermore, we may on some future day get the shock of our life and find a fate similar to that of JFK bestowed on Trump. Make no mistake these people are determined to put down and keep down America. Soros at one time said, America is the only thing standing in the way of the NWO and it must be destroyed. That is what obama is here for. Make no mistake about that.

Get and watch two documentaries called Agenda and Agenda 2. Then make your own decision as to how far you think they will go. I have!

          8. Rattlerjake

Oh I totally agree with you, my last comment was simple stating the obvious in reply to jaybird.

      1. Rattlerjake

You should NOT use the word President or POTUS when referring to the usurper in the White House. He is neither, his occupation of that office is a fraud and illegal. But I agree with the question. And why has the Right basically quit fighting him being there?

          1. Rattlerjake

I’m not talking about the politicians (because we know they are all on the same side, which is not the side of the Constitution), I’m talking about the people. They bitch and complain but when real action is necessary they are non-committal. Obastard has remained in office because “We the people” are complacent, or maybe the better word is “chickenshit”!

          2. WVF

I completely understand your thinking, but this is a Representative Republic, and these ne’er do wells are supposed to represent us! We the People can’t prepare writs of impeachment on our own. The elected officials are supposed to do that!

          3. Rattlerjake

In the case of Ovomit, he is illegally in office. You cannot legally impeach him, he is NOT the President. A person hired to be a doctor, cop, teacher, etc. that does not qualify but was hired under fraudulent circumstances is not a doctor, cop, or teacher. The people need to file a never-ending line of lawsuits, and a recall could have been initiated based on him NOT being eligible and for violating multiple areas of the Constitution. Besides that, when the government is ineffective, the people need to take them out of office; what do you think our forefathers would have done? That’s what we should have done or should do! Sadly, at this point it is too late for removal from office, that is why the fight to prevent Cruz getting in office is paramount. If Cruz is elected, because he is ineligible also, it will set the precedent that the Natural Born Citizen requirement is worthless, and any litigation against Ovomit based on fraud is over.

          4. WVF

You make some good points. I’ve said all along, since Barack Hussein Insane Barry Soetoro Obama was fraudulently elected, he could not be impeached, but people in general have ignored that fact. You say Lyin’ Ted Cruz is ineligible, and I agree, but what about anchor baby Marco Rubella? His parents are Cuban refugees. Yes, he was born in Miami, Florida in 1971, but his parents were not American parents! In fact, his parents were not even naturalized citizens until four years after Marco was born! I bring this up, because “little” Marco will be back, and this crap needs to be dealt with now!

          5. kibitzer3

Of course, Rubio is not eligible either. And we’re talking about both the POTUS and the VP office, ever since the 12th Amendment. Which only makes sense.

Geez, has this nation ever gone to sleep. We are on the verge of selling out our legacy for a mess of pottage. Terrible stuff.

          6. WVF

This nation has not only fallen asleep, it is comatose! I recommend to all patriots/citizens that they enroll in Hillsdale College’s free online courses. I have already taken many and currently working on a new one. People need to understand our Constitution. We need to establish now that Rubio, Cruz, and even Jindal are not eligible! If we don’t nip this in the bud, they will be back, and just like BHO will eventually get elected to the presidency.

          7. Rattlerjake

Rubio is nothing but an illegal designated an anchor baby. His perceived citizenship falls under one of the categories listed in the Immigration and Naturalization Act, which means he cannot be a Natural Born Citizen. Under the I and N Act, citizenship is NOT automatic. People don’t pay attention to the fact that there is a further requirement of filing for a certificate of citizenship. In Rubio’s case, neither parent was a citizen, they were merely “residents”; refugees are foreign national residents that must apply for citizenship, they just get a pass when it comes to immigrating; many are actually refused citizenship for criminal or political reasons, but are still allowed to reside here; denying citizenship in essence prevents them from all of the Constitutional entitlements (SSN, medical insurance, voting, etc.). Like ALL anchor babies, they (Rubio) are nothing but natives of the state they are born in, it does NOT make them a citizen. In the end, Congress can establish who is citizens, by amending or replacing the I and N Act, but Congress CANNOT make someone a Natural Born Citizen!

          8. kibitzer3

And that, of course, would be the total end of the rule of law in this country – that is to say, by the Constitution It could not stand if something so fundamental as the eligibility requirements for the office of POTUS were not honored; that would be a hole blown in the hull of the ship of state.

Our hope is with the Oath Keepers, current and retired, to GET OUR COUNTRY BACK. NO MORE NONSENSE. And I disagree that “at this point it is too late for removal from office”. We HAVE to get the Usurper out of there, before the NWO crowd orchestrate a Crisis for the Opportunity of the Usurper declaring a ‘state of national emergency’ and subsequent declaration of martial law. Which would be the end of the federal constitutional republic of the U.S.A. That CANNOT BE ALLOWED TO HAPPEN. Anybody who has any clout with Oath Keepers MUST demand that they DO THEIR DAMN DUTY: arrange with the S.S. to arrest the Usurper, and hold him for trial, on a whole host of charges by now, including fraud, perjury, and treason. And let the chips fall where they may. We’re talking about the life of the Republic here, folks. This is NOT a game. Political or otherwise.

          9. Rattlerjake

You seem to think that the oathkeepers are some kind of legal law enforcement organization and expect that it’s only their duty. Oatkeepers are no different than any other “true” American other than they served their country directly in some capacity. The oathkeepers can’t do anything without the PHYSICAL support of the people, who insist on sitting on their thumbs and “EXPECTING” someone else to do something. There are TWO types of Americans – 1) Those who believe in and support their Constitution and nation (not the government), and 2) those who think that because they were born here they are American, but believe in and support government over the Constitution (all libturds). It is the duty of ALL true Americans to take a stand, not just the oathkeepers.
Look at what happened at the Bundy Ranch and in Oregon. These people are true patriots; they took a stand against this tyrannical government, and even did it without violence; they did exactly what we all should be doing; yet who is helping them now? Every able-bodied citizen in and around those areas should have descended on those two locations and beat down the government by sheer overwhelming numbers. Instead, most of them just watched from the sidelines (on their TV). We the people should be instilling fear on the government, NOT the other way around.

          10. kibitzer3

It doesn’t have to come to all that. To clarify where I’m coming from:

Oath Keepers have made a specific commitment, not the general commitment of the public. And, they have a Commander in Chief who is a Usurper, and thus are taking illegal orders. So they need to redress that ‘grievance’ immediately. Or they will be trapped into doing the bidding of a false C in C. They need to get out of that trap ASAP. They need, in other words, to become the spearhead. that the citizenry can then rally ’round. Not to do so is to abrogate their oath. And once they take the lead, we can follow.

White Hats in the Military: Where the hell ARE you? Your duty calls. Your Commander in Chief is a fraud. Deal with it.

          11. Rattlerjake

Although I gladly would, that won’t happen until SHTF. The majority of people will not follow me because my opinions make me a racist, islamophobe, gun and bible clutching right wing conservative conspiracy theorist prepper nut who hates deviant behaviorists and believes in morality.

      1. senior74

His father started out with the revolution thinking they were taking down Batista who was a dictator, fighting for freedom. When he realized what was happening, another dictator he fought against it & ended up tortured & imprisoned. This is one of the reason I like Cruz, he knows how terrible Communism is & we are right on the cusp of having it here. Research UN Agenda 21, the plan to make us part of a Communist one world gov.

        1. jaybird

If he follows the Constitution there isn’t anything in it that will harm the US or it’s citizens.

        2. loony1975

you say you “like cruz”…then you suggest people read up on agenda 21 and the NWO…maybe you should do your research on cruz and his wife’s ties to agenda 21 and the NWO…if you like cruz,, you won’t after you do your research…his wife is neck deep in NWO legislation…BOTH CRUZ AND HIS WIFE ARE GARBAGE…

          1. jaybird

I probably know more about Cruz then you do, because I do research. Well, have you done your research on Trump and listened to his debates? Read the following slowly so that it will sink in! Sometimes I read things more than once. I did the research on the following.

In one debate he said that he gets some of his foreign policy from a man he “greatly respects”, Richard Haas-CURRENT PRESIDENT OF CFR AND 2 of his foreign policy people – 1 is former CFR employee and another is former Hudson Institute – NWO. Trump is a WOLF IN SHEEP’S CLOTHING! He has hired Establishment to run his campaign and they have said that the way he has been will change after he gets the nomination. He is a fake!

Cruz’s National Security Team has approx. 5 people that are from the Center for Security Policy -all are fighters against the Muslim Brotherhood in the United States government. Frank Gaffney, Jr. is President of it and he is one of them on Cruz’s team. Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) endorsed Cruz and he knows the Constitution as well as Cruz. He has stood on the Senate floor supporting Cruz. I hope he is given a position if Cruz becomes President. I have watched the Senate hearing in the past, I watched as Cruz called McJoke a Liar! He has exposed “back-room deals”.

At least Cruz will follow the Constitution, TRUMP will depend on people to tell him everything and can they be trusted? He says stuff and then a day later he changes it?? You can’t change policy in the government and then later that day or the next change it again, you have to be right the 1st time. Trump says that he will pick the “best politicians” for positions, will he research them to find out who they have worked for or what they believe in?

I have issues with both but the Constitution and Bill of Rights being followed will be CRUZ.

          2. jaybird

I know that she works for Goldman Sachs, I know that she was on the CFR team. When a reporter asked him he said that CFR is a pit of vipers.

Have you done your research on what I wrote about TRUMP???

          3. loony1975

you forgot NAFTA and a whole host of other legislation cruz’s wife is/was involved in, in preparation for NWO, NONE of it is good for America…

          4. loony1975

and I did my research on Trump when he first announced his candidacy, he may not be perfect, but he WILL get us back on track…it will take more than one president to correct the last 30yrs of corruption…but Trump is a good start…we need him to set Washington straight and clean up our country…we want Trump to get rid of ALL of the illegals and make our borders secure, and scrap ALL things with obozos name on it…then the next president will have an American based platform to work from, instead of the treasonous one…

          5. jaybird

Did you read the part that he gets some of his foreign policy from a man he greatly respects -Richard Haas the current President of CFR in one of the debates.? I don’t think Trump knows who to ask for help. He has said that he will have to appoint politicians because he is inexperienced in running a country. Will he check the background of the politicians that he will choose??

          6. loony1975

I already know that Trump will need help…who really has the experience to run the country as president, no one, but the ones who have already been…I agree that he will need help on foreign relations…but right now we need a man that knows business, and he does…earlier in the race, I was for a TRUMP/CRUZ ticket hoping that trump would straighten out our country while cruz straightened out the relations…but, knowing the direction of cruz, I just don’t know if that would be good…four yrs. of Trump FIRST would be better than four yrs. of ANYONE else in the campaign, right now…then maybe cruz or carson…

          7. jaybird

The people that are past employees of CFR that are on Cruz and Trump’s teams are minions compared to Trump getting foreign policy info directly from the PRESIDENT OF CFR.

I like Cruz’s National Security Team (security in the US), the President of the Center for Security Policy and 3/4 other employees are on it. I have a pamphlet of Frank Gaffney,Pres. exposing The Muslim Brotherhood in the Obama Administration. This should help to get them out since they are appointed. I have not seen Trump’s National Security Team yet.

I agree that Trump knows business and getting our economy going is critical but there are a lot of treaties and international laws, tariffs, etc. that are involved and Trump likes to appoint people to take care of things. It is not like fixing the skating rink in Times square which he did a great job of.

We don’t know the direction of either Candidate. Trump really doesn’t know the direction of the people that he will be getting advice from because he has no prior experience with them, “he will take the word of someone else”. Trump only gives snippets of what his plans are and I look up names, etc that he mentions. I feel that Cruz knows the direction that most of these people have that have been in government a long time. In one of the articles and I read 7+ gave information that Ted Cruz created a lot of jobs in TX by removing taxes on businesses. I saw it when looking up Ted & Heidi Cruz on the CFR (there are a lot of articles). I don’t depend on other people to do my research. Keep listening to everything they say, do not limit yourself to 1 candidate at this time and keep researching who is on their teams, any name they mention or anything that you have not heard before. I have been jumping back and forth between them.

Keeping Sovereignty of our country and defending the Constitution and Bill of Rights is a big deal. The UN and people like Peter Sutherland, Henry Kissinger, etc pushing to get rid of Sovereignty by illegal immigration are wrong. People from different cultures will never accept the culture of the US because they want to rule the people like countries that have “Dicktators”. I would like to see all people play nice and be equal but it is a pipe dream, there are too many radical different cultures and even different beliefs in the US. The elites want to play “God” and if there is resistance they will send in foreign armies to enforce their will.

Too many everyday people do not know the underside of governments, ours included. Citizens need to get involved in local Republican parties in their counties to change the Republican Party direction, become a delegate. I became one in March and I will get to vote for the Delegates in my state that will go to the RNC Convention in July. I have been told that some will tell you who to vote for-I said “good luck with that”. I don’t agree that delegates get to pick the nominee instead of the voters. I think it will take a long time to change this and I am 72, need younger ones to get involved.

          8. loony1975

easy, just google ted cruz, then google Heidi cruz…just make sure you research each separately, his is not good, hers is worse…

    1. senior74

Dual citizen, just like my son, I am an American which makes son a natural born! Cruz’ mother is an American, makes him a natural & has been proven in court 7 times at least!

      1. 67N20 Army

NO,, it does NOT,, A Natural Born Citizen is the child of “TWO CITIZEN Parents” !!! Just check out the website mentioned below in “kibitzer3 ” comment ! A “DUAL” citizen is NOT a “Natural Born Citizen” !!!

          1. 67N20 Army

Rafael is an “Establishment owned” , New World Order, agent !!! No better than the “garbage” that`s in the “Rainbow” House !!

      2. Jeanne Stotler

She was a Canadian citizen, look it up, she entered Canada from England, where she became a British subject, her married name was Wilson, it gets better the more you read, about both his mother and father.

          1. Jeanne Stotler

She married a Brit (Wilson), moved to England and became a British subject, that’s how she got Canadian citizenship in a year not 3 as for most, y.ou cannot have dual citizenship in Canada, just look things up and READ

      3. Dave

A natural born citizen must be born on either US soil or a US protected territory or overseas military base…..not Canada or Kenya Africa either….

        1. kibitzer3

And born of parents who are citizens. Both jus soli – law of the land – and jus sanguinis – law of the blood – apply, to make one a ‘natural born’ citizen. That’s what makes it ‘natural,’ for heaven’s sake. NO DUAL OR OTHERWISE CONFLICTING LOYALTIES OR ALLEGIANCES OF INFLUENCES. SOLE ALLEGIANCE to the U.S. That’s why the constitutional Framers put that eligibility requirement in their contract for that SPECIFIC OFFICE. In PARTICULAR because the occupant of that office would then as well become the Commander in Chief of the nation’s military forces.

It’s all in the historical record. And when our Oath Keepers – current and retired – take the time and trouble to read that record, they will – one would hope – do their duty, and arrest the Usurper in the Oval Office, and hold him for trial, on a whole host of charges by now, including fraud, perjury, and treason.

And Cruz – one would hope – would go back to Law School, and take a closer look at that record. And not just take his liberal law school professors’ word for what is in the Constitution. As he has obviously done to this point in time. Giving him the benefit of the doubt, there.

          1. Dave

It has absolutely nothing to do, in this case, with being biologically natural. It has everything to do with the Constitutional definition of Natural Born. The reason the Founding Fathers set the Constitutional definition the way they did was to keep people, born in a foreign country, from being able to become President only. They can become Senators and Congressmen or hold any other office in this country. If we are not going to adhere to the Constitution, which Cruz so adamantly claims to do, then it’s just a piece of paper.

    2. WVF

A person cannot renounce a citizenship they never had–Canadian-Club-Cuban-Lyin’ Ted Cruz renounced his Canadian citizenship May 14, 2014, and that is a fact!

      1. 67N20 Army

This is true,, and they can NOT claim to be something they are NOT and get away with it HOPEFULLY !!

    3. Chuck

Correct. He had dual citizenship (which he gave up) due to the fact that his mother was an American citizen.

  4. Seedman

The above article is a blatant attempt to distort the views of Senator Ted Cruz. Trump is the one who is the chameleon who just lately stated he disagreed with the GOP party platform on abortion and the North Carolina law on bathroom usage. God hates pride and Donald and his tag along followers are headed for a very disappointing fall.

    1. Mark Menenedez

Seedman, evidently you have not done thorough research on Ted Cruz and his wife, Heidi.
Cruz and his wife are Bush operatives. The Bush’s are funding his campaign.
God hates liars – and he’s lying to Americans. You appear to have bought into his ‘Christian’ mantra. Most
importantly, candidates who use their faith in politics as Cruz and his
wife have done are pathetic. Unfortunately, many Christians will fall
for that and never investigate what the candidate really stands for or the candidates voting history.

Before you continuing endorsing Ted Cruz, you MUST know these facts – which are VERIFIABLE! Educate yourself..

      * Ted Cruz was George Bush’s top policy advisor.
      * Ted Cruz was in the federal Trade Commission.
      * Ted and Heidi met when they were both Bush staffers.
      * Cruz advised on legal affairs and Heidi on economic policy for the bush administration.
      * Heidi was director for the Western Hemisphere on the national security council under Condoleeza Rice.
      * Heidi served as deputy U.S. Trade Representative to USTR head,
Robert Zoellick, working on China trade policy.
      * Heidi Cruz has been employed by Goldman Sachs since 2005. She is currently on leave.
      * Heidi Cruz is a member of the leftist council on foreign relations, advocates of world Government and a New World Order.
      * Ted Cruz’ campaign chairman, Chad Sweet, is a former CIA officer.
He also worked for Goldman Sachs.
      * Ted Cruz voted for cloture on TPA, (trans pacific partnership agreement)
fast track trade authority, removing the hurdle of concern for further amendment, and clearing the way for passage!
It didn’t have to be recorded, so nobody knew this.
He voted NOT to require approval of congress before other countries could join, including China.
Cruz has openly stated that he will NOT use a deportation force, and
will continue to use the failed ICE system, where an illegal has to
commit a crime first, then be caught.
      * Cruz belongs to
the radical Christian sect of 7 mountains dominionism, that seeks to
place their members in control of our culture and create a NWO though
the domination of business, government, media, arts & entertainment,
education, family, and religion. He is the appointed messiah/savior of
      their group.
      * Ted Cruz has only been a citizen for
about 19 months! He renounced his Canadian citizenship in 2014 so he
      could run for president.
      *There are also other reasons
that he is not constitutionally eligible, including the fact that both
of his parents were NOT U.S. Citizens when he was born, only his mother
Wise up, he’s not who you think he is
*He has always been establishment, he is bought and paid by the banks.
*The Bush’s are funding his campaign.
*He did not vote to audit the Federal Reserve, CRUZ MOST CERTAINLY IS ESTABLISHMENT.
Heidi Cruz filed for divorce twice – once in 2010 and again in 2011
listing infidelity as the grounds. Ole’ ‘Lying Ted’ caught again.
[Luke 8:17, Mark 4:22 There is nothing hidden that will not be

      1. senior74

You need to do a little research & not repeat Trumps lies, politifact.com has a report with him telling 110 lies with the evidence. None of what you say is true. If he were establishment, why would they hate him? It’s because he has fought them all the way. Ted & Heidi worked on Bush’s election, that is how they met but that is all they did for Bush. As a matter of fact when Cruz was solicitor general for Tx. Cruz came against Bush when Bush sided with the Intl Court who wanted jurisdiction over an illegal who had raped & murdered a woman & was sentenced to death, Cruz won! Many other cases fighting for our sovereignty & our constitution!

        1. Snelloc

politifact is a left wing site you know? Also politifact has reported that out of 94 statements by Cruz only 6 were truthful. So either they are not worth listening to or both Cruz and Trump are liars.

    2. Mark Menenedez

BTW God tells us in Hosea 4:6 “my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge”.
Who’s headed for a very disappointing fall?

    3. Warlock

It’s no secret Trump is not a Republican. I myself (if we have to use labels) most closely identify with Libertarian ideals.

When I saw Paul didn’t have a chance I jumped ship, and investigating the viable candidates I was originally favoring Cruz, he’s my state Senator. Then I found too much damning evidence on him. Investigating Trump I found some skeletons in the closet but not enough for a no vote.

Just so we are clear. The Republican Party has been infiltrated by everything possible, libertarians, independents, tea Partiers, etc.
For anyone that doesn’t know. The reason these candidates have infiltrated vs going independent ticket is that some states make it nearly impossible to get on their ballot unless you are one of the 2 party’s. Why I wonder would that be? It’s pretty obvious that the owners of the 2 party system have been busy trying to monopolize the system with labyrinthine rules.

So if you think Trump is a conservative, sorry to disappoint,

The good news is, he definitely isn’t a left wing totalitarian.

    4. Karen

It’s amazing the conspiracy theories these empty headed twits accept as fact.
The only ones you hear smearing Cruz are looney bin, tin foil hat wearing, hand wringing sycophantic, bloodless, thought free, boogeyman behind every bush, zombies. Start screaming Trumpets!!! Not one coherent thought amongst you.

    1. stick

Still singing the same old song Huh a**wipe…. What you gonna do when the Muslims start killing or raping your people….join them??? You are the most RACIST animal inbred reject this country has ever had the misfortune of being subjected to your banal garbage. When you ever decide to grow up and act more like a human sapien instead of crawling on your belly like a snake then perhaps you might be welcome here. But I know that will never happen because a person with brains would know better than to be a perverted viper such as you. When God handed out brains he must of missed you or you declined the offer.

      1. The Redman

I bet U R the lowest form of inbred in yo trampy family, huh. “stick” dat in yo nutty, pink, greasy head.

  5. SABER

Yep…Cruz is a pretty slick BS’er like the majority of politicians are these days.
Happy though, that many today are able to see through this pathetic lying Con artist.

  6. Gail

Cruz has never been trustworthy! Everyone knows he’s a liar. Everyone knows he’s had the opportunity to do right by the people and he has shown he is not competent.

    1. jaybird

In the last debate that I listened to, Trump said that he gets his foreign policy information from a man “he greatly respects, Richard Haas, THE CURRENT PRESIDENT OF CFR. Trump says things then has to take it back at a later date and change it. You can’t take something back you said a few days later as President.

        1. jaybird

I think you need to re-read what I posted. Where did I say he was a “politician”??

If he manipulates his business deals, I am sure he could learn to do it in politics. Your word “manipulation” which I never said.

Do you even know what the CFR is?

  7. Robert Morzenti

Where are the tapes for us to listen too…I’m sick of hearing this video or that tape but you never see them…produce them or f–k off….

    1. senior74

Well Trump is a bigger liar than all of them put together evidently, his main man just said Trumps been playing a role, he’s going to change soon!

      1. Jeanne Stotler

Maybe you should know what the act was about, it’s about him being blustering, he can and will show his administrative side later. I am sure you act different at work than at home, I sure didn’t yell at coworkers like I did my kids, we all have different actions, depending on where we are and with whom we are with.

        1. jaybird

Trump has said that he gets his foreign policy information from a man he greatly respects, Richard Haas, CURRENT PRESIDENT OF CFR!

        2. Michael

And Trump was right when he said I love the poorly educated, and when he said he could shoot someone dead on Times square and the sheep would still vote for him. This is knind of Like Jim Jones stuff isn’t it. He has you all lulled with anger and anger is not a good thing. We need someone with brains and a love of theConstitution and freedom to turn around the damage done by Obama administration. Trump is a big government liberal don’t be fooled do your homework. And the NY values stuff was first siad by Trump in a Russert interview but as usual the media ignores the truth and spreads falsehoods. We have the internet why do we let the media pick our Candidates. Don’t let them soil your minds with garbage. WAKE UP CRUZ IS THE ONE WE NEED that is why they are working so hard to ruin him because he is with us and won’t waver. They hate We the People when we come together hence they lie and attack Cruz.

          1. John Lane

Cruz,is ineligible, According the US Constitution, as he was born in Canada, the Constitution, say’s, Natural born, which means, born in the USA! And not being a dual citizen!!

      2. Ginger

Trump’s team was talking about Trump’s Presidential Persona, not that he would be lying about anything he has already said or plans to do. I know you Rafael Ted Cruz and Hillary Rodham Clinton supporters like to attack on any little thing you can find, but both of the two true liars have already been exposed. That’s why Trump calls your candidate “Lying Ted” and the other one “Crooked Hillary”. I think those names fit them both. Go Trump!

        1. Michael

Trump is a fraud who is affraid to debate like a little baby. He says lying Ted because that is what he is a bully and he knows people are so dumb that if someone says things over and over they will believe it. Trump lies sometimes even in the same sentence has he ever exposed any lies by Cruz and if he does you should go get the facts because that will be another lie by Trump. He has no clue to what he is doing so he stirs up the masses with innuendos and falsehoods. The man is all about Trump. Why are so many being duped by this huckster? Everyone cries about the 1% but he is the 1% who feeds the corruption with bribes to get what he wants we need an outsider on our side and that is Cruz!

    2. Michael

Why can’t The Donald debate Duckers sheep see what he is a giant RINO who lies sometimes in the same sentence. This guy is a fraud! Don’t be fooled again. He will be worse than Obama. We can’t let this get by we have the seanate and the house we must put a real Constitutional Conservative in the WH not a psychotic ego maniac that only cares about his adoration. He turns on everyone and will turn on you as soon as he wins BEWARE!

    3. Will

I’m a Trumpet, but it’s clear that you didn’t read the quote above.

And so that is a core commitment.’”

That is true Libertarian, ‘founding fathers’ American ideology right there. Any American who doesn’t like that quote, either has no understanding of the constitution, or doesn’t understand that the greatness of this nation is because of it. The real reason to dislike Cruz is because of the meddling of the RNC, trying to take voters out of their equation. The title of this article is intentionally misleading.

  9. Tuxedo_Plowboy

You people fall for all of the Cruz smear tactics. We already got seven years of Obummer and you still can’t see that the media is an enemy of any true conservative.

  10. patriotrenegade

His father was with oswald, split to canada sfter the JFK killing, worked for an oil Co owned by CFR, CIA daddy bush. All of his mother’s, father’s, and his birth records were posted on a conservative website yesterday. Seems mom went to the UK then canada, Might have UK citizenship, well so does lyin ted. He renounces his canadian citizenship in 2014 but did he get naturalized here??? He may be a citizen of NO COUNTRY. Naturalized would make him ineligible anyway. He was not even eligible to be a senator. Shame on TX!!! Plus his wife is a CFR/NAU/goldman sachs just like hitlery. No more CFR’s as first ladies either. Can any cruzbots explain please???

    1. jaybird

Trump said that he gets some of his foreign policy from a man he “greatly respects”, Richard Haas, THE CURRENT PRESIDENT OF CFR., and 2 on his foreign policy team has ties to CRR and NWO. Now what do you say about that??

      1. patriotrenegade

I don’t disbelieve you, if you have more let me know. In 88 dukakis was gonna have jesse as vp, then….he’s got this unheard of guy, lloyd bensten(SP) CFR. A babysitter forced on the candidate. JFK was the only prez to refuse to join the CFR. How’d that go? Now, if Trump is being threatened or forced that may be one thing, yet if everything he rails against is caused by globalism, why turn to CFR’s? I can never vote for anyone else. I am gonna be calling the campaign and doing some yelling, so if Trump has these vermin on board, then we’ve lost our country. I will not vote then. If you have more please put it out there. I will check on this as well.

        1. jaybird

This is a crucial election and I will vote because anything is better than Killary, if you think things are bad now just let her win-there will be no more “America”.. So if you want Killary to win then stay home and it will happen. I just want everyone to be aware of both Republican candidates and chose who we can live with.

Cruz has approx. 5 members of the Center for Security Policy on his National Security team (security of the US). One is the founder and President, Frank Gaffney, Jr. I have a pamphlet of his – “The Muslim Brotherhood in the Obama Administration. If you want to fight against Islam in our country, these are the people to do it. Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) knows the Constitution as well as Cruz and he has endorsed him. I feel that Cruz will follow the Constitution and I don’t think Mike Lee would have endorsed him if he didn’t think he would. I have watched the Senate hearing for at least 5 yrs and impressed with Mike Lee.

    2. jaybird

TRUMP said in one of his debates that he gets his foreign policy info from a man “he greatly respects”, RICHARD HAAS – CURRENT PRESIDENT OF THE CFR. Two of TRUMP’S foreign policy team -1 is a past employee of the CFR and another is a past employee of the Hudson Institute – NWO. TRUMP has said he will have to pick politicians for positions because he is inexperienced in running a country. Is he going to research what they have voted for in the past??? Do your research.

  11. BajaRon

Absolutely NOTHING NEW HERE! Cruz IS NOT changing his message.

This is not the breathless expose of ‘Lies’ that your headline touts it to be. Cruz is exactly right. The Constitution gives no authority to the President to dictate these areas (though our current, lawless president is exploiting our current, spineless congress to accomplish his personal will on these issues).

Cruz is exactly right, and has said so many times to every audience that I am aware of including this one. That the Constitution gives each individual state the right and power to determine what they will do. So, though Cruz may personally be against ‘Gay Rights’ and ‘Anything Goes’ bathrooms. He will adhere to the dictates of the Constitution and leave these decisions in the each individual state, which is exactly the way it should be done.

    1. senior74

Exactly right! I am amazed the number of lies about Cruz when he is a man of honor! I can’t help but believe the majority of those running web sites or hosting news shows (Hannity comes to mind) seem to be in cahoots with the big plan pushing UN Agenda 21 which will make us part of a Communist one world gov. Ted Cruz is the only one to speak against this & the only one that defends the constitution & sovereignty of America. Did an excellent job as solicitor general in Tx. fighting in the Supreme Court!

  12. stick

White House Accidentally Slips Out Obama’s Plans to Cancel November Elections This from the Conservatives United. Com. I believe that if Obummer actually tries this he is going to have revolution in this country with the American Voters. There are many Americans that are tired of his fanatical BS and certainly do not want to put up with any more. I have said this before “Where Is A Seal When You Need One”?? And as for Cruz
    he’s pathetic:
Senator Ted Cruz has positioned himself as a strong opponent of same-sex marriage,
urging pastors nationwide to preach in support of marriage as an
institution between a man and a woman, which he said was “ordained by
on Monday night, at a reception for him at the Manhattan apartment of
two prominent gay hoteliers, the Texas senator and Republican
presidential hopeful struck quite a different tone.

During the gathering, according to two people present, Mr. Cruz said he would
not love his daughters any differently if one of them was gay. He did
not mention his opposition to same-sex marriage, saying only that marriage is an issue that should be left to the states.

    Also another reason for Trump…

This during Clinton’s time in office.
Bill Clinton proclaimed: “The era of big government is over.” To that
point in time his assertion was one of the few things that Democrats and
Republicans could agree on. It was the sound byte heard around the
world, but big government didn’t end on that day and we’re
still fighting to slay that dragon today. An end to big government is not going to happen
with politicians in control. This scenario has to change if we are to avoid the yoke of big government any longer.

  13. Icemancold

Never trusted TED he is a career politician who will lie and cheat to win.LYING TED as the man calls him and he proved just how crooked he is when he told his people to tell caucus goers that carson was suspending his campaign and to vote Cruz. LIES all of it.!!

  14. Omestreon

If it comes down to Trump or Hillary it’s a no brainer I will vote for Trump in a heartbeat. Having said that, I fear the Trump true believers are in for a rude awakening. Donald Trump is not a conservative and as time goes on your going to see him move more and more to the left, especially once he locks up the nomination.

  15. ersliva

the media and cruz today just twisted what trump stated about the transgender issue….in his town house meeting in pennsyvania which i watched….and its nothing buty lies from them….i was once wanting cruz and trump to run as the republican ticket but after the last three months oh hell no do i want cruz anywhere near the white house because hes just another manchurian candidate and maybe even far worse then obama has been….

  16. ReaperHD

They all Fake it and just feed you enough BS to get in office and then they think they can do what they want.

  18. Effenexes

Of course Forked Tongue Teddy hasn’t been consistent on anything of substance since Rubio exposed him as a disingenuous flip flopping politician who talks out of both sides of his mouth in one of the debates. It is quite amusing to hop on other ultra conservative blogs and watch the Cruz zealots take out their long knives and attack Trump and his followers with every conceivable diatribe taught to mankind. It is understandable that they have a hard time getting the big picture because they have such a small screen

  19. The Fox

Cruz is typical RINO and will say anything to stay in DC as he is a real nut job who wants to be all things to all people, a liberal rat at heart.

  20. dnav

No, I saw through Ted months ago, along with Jan Morgan, and would never vote for him. He is truly the top slime ball in this campaign.

  21. Most Rev. Archbishop Gregori

Lyin’ Ted Cruz says defending the Constitution is a TOP PRIORITY, then why is he running for President knowing full well that he is NOT constitutionally eligible? Cruz is as big a fraud as Obama. For those who don’t believe me or don’t want to believe me, then try listening to what the North American Law Center has to say. Listen to their four part podcast of their radio program. The links are below:

  22. Patriot41

How does this bust Cruz, for telling the truth about where he stands? He has always indicated that he would support the U.S. Constitution and States’ rights. This is more of Trump’s B.S.!

  23. Karen

The “authors” of this piece admit that his statement that defense of the Constitution is his focus is correct and cuts across all other issues. That’s been Cruz’s position all along. Defense of the Constitution. I see yellow journalism, not a liar.

  24. Flyby

I never did TRUSted and this lie by the master confirms that first impression are usually correct.

    1. bmoc

Except in the case of Dementia Don. His campaign promises sound good, then he reverses his positions, and sounds just like Obama and Hillary.

  25. bmoc

If Cruz is supposed to be such a liar, why did Manafort just admit to the RNC, recorded, that Trump’s entire campaign is a lie? He admitted that Trump tells his campaign crowds one thing, but tells his confidants something different. Lyin’ Donnie!!!

  26. Lemmont Washington

I have known of Ted as long as I have known of Trump, and I would put my wallet with cash down if Cruz was there, and leave the room. But not if it was sticky fingers Trump.

  27. apzzyk

There are liars, damn liars and Republicans running for office. 2 years ago, now Sen. Cory Gardner got elected with the women’s vote, and has voted against every women’s issue since, and there are talks about a recall election.

  28. Peter Smith

To all of the Trumpateers out there, “Go F-ck Yourselves”. There, short and to the point. Did any of you read the whole dialogue about the “same sex marriage” question? Oh, I forgot, you’re Trumpateers and most of you can’t read. The question was is the issue in the top three problems Cruz would take on first and foremost. The answer was “No”, the the assault on the Constitution was first and foremost and that covered a number of attacks including the 1st Amendment and all it pertains. You would also have to look at the 2nd as well. Then the executive over reach of Obama and repealing those Obama orders. Then, even you Trumpateer cretins should admit that the economy, immigration, the explosive growth of big government under the current administration are way ahead of the “same sex marriage” issue. He also correctly stated that the issue should be handled by the individual states via a democratic vote, not by five Justices. The Constitution gives the decision on “same sex marriage” that right and Senator Cruz will defend the Constitution. There was and is no “change of policy” or lying to gain votes. I know that is way above your heads, but then my 8 year old grandson is too far above you people.
Now, stirring the pot, what about Lyin’ Donald agreeing with the transgenders using any restroom that “agrees” with their “true” sexual orientation? Old Lyin’ Donald will continue to prove that you IDIOTS are supporting a liberal Democrat. You might as well vote for Hillary Clinton, we’ll wind up with the same result.

  29. theresa perry

So we go from the “United States of America”, to the “Confederation of Geographically Connected States of America”. Guess Alaska and Hawaii are on their own. Texas, California, New Mexico, Arizona: You want that wall built? You’ll be on your own.

  30. senior74

Ted Cruz has said all along that states should have the say over some of those issues you just mentioned, some states are more liberal. I think the constitution & our sovereignty are the real issues for the federal government & Cruz has always defended them such as when he was solicitor general in TX fighting cases at the Supreme Court. Such as when he fought for 31 states for the right to keep & bear arms & won! Fought for our sovereignty over an illegal who had raped & murdered a women & was convicted & sentenced to death but the Intl. Court wanted him released (even Bush was with the Intl Court, but Cruz won that case. Cruz is the only one to speak against the UN Agenda 21, the plan to make us part of a Communist one world gov. excuse is global warming/climate change. Trump is a liberal, I don’t trust him to adhere to the constitution one bit, he already said he would change the libel laws, that is against the freedom of speech & his reason, no one better say any thing bad about him or he will sue!

  31. Pogo

The ONLY chance the people have to regain at least a modicum of control of government is, for better or worse, Donald Trump. ALL the rest are insiders who will continue allowing Congress, those carpet-baggers-for-life, to feed at the public trough.

Trump has 2 past employees of the CFR on his foreign policy team and gets some of his foreign policy info from a man he greatly respects, Richard Haas, current President of CFR.

To me professional politicians are like what we used to call suede shoe salesman. Say anything to get the sale and then not do the job for which they collected the payment.

  33. Hasbro

No.. It doesn’t. Marriage is a state issue & if Kalifornia decides it’s okay, then it is okay in Kalifornia. The fact that the feds are forcing gay marriage on states that don’t want it is what I don’t like.

That being said… I don’t think Ted Cruz is a natural born American citizen.

  34. Don Dunn

lotta comments/opinions on here/ok ..fine,,for growth..an correction towards “wholesome” governmental thought an process..right now Trump is needed..not braggin/mindlessly bout Trump.. is what is needed now for….best for USA future

  35. Alan404

If the above statements are correct, it boils down to the following. Say whatever you think your audience wants to hear, truth be damned. Re a politician, someone once asked, Is he lying, the answer being Are his lips moving?

  36. JAMES

Cruz is not an insider he fought the republican elite in the senate. Trump is a little hand grenade waiting to go off BOOM…. STILL BETTER THAN THAT LYING BITCH…LMAO

    1. Snelloc

Trump’s mother was a naturalized american before he was born, makes him natural born as his father was also a citizen.

  37. George Cardin

Hasn’t that been politics as usual all along? They tell the voters what they want to hear to get elected and then get into office and do none of it or just some of it

  38. Sheri

You are junk politics and I have been ignoring your bias lean towards trump, who is un-presidential, crass, a liar and cheat. Do you not understand that the FEDERAL govt has no business making those decisions? The states are to do that. If you had ever listened to Senator Ted Cruz’s msg. you would know that he has always said that. If elected, he is not to create laws. The elected, by the rulers of this land, we the people will vote for those matters locally (state, by state), not federally. Do you not know the constitution? Read it. Ted Cruz will enforce the constitution and you can TrustTed on that! (In case you need someone to spell this out to you, NY, TX ro OH etc. decides on gay marriage, not the federal govt.) check out YouTube Trump: If I’m president we’ll win so much, you’ll get bored with winning. What a dope.

  39. Danny S.

Cruz said he is against common core ,and gay marriage. He has always said that those issues should be state decisions. So mister spy. He didn’t lie as you have said.

    1. justanagent

When you have a narrow base of knowledge and your opponents are more intelligent. You resort to name calling instead of engaging them on the issues.

      1. WVF

Perhaps, but “name calling” as you put it, can be quite effective if accurate. In fact, that infers a wide base of knowledge and shows intellectual superiority.

        1. justanagent

OK, I’ll give it a try. How about Hillary Hyperliar Clinton, Bernie BeaSocialist Sanders and Donald Temper Tantrum Trump. They are all provably accurate. Does using them therefore infer a wide base of knowledge and intellectual superiority? I still prefer to stick to the issues and avoid invective. Name calling is usually a reflection of immaturity and insecurity, certainly not what we are looking for in a president.

          1. WVF

Thanks, I believe I know how and why you think and feel the way you do, and my guess is that you and I came from a very different era. Candidates of today are playing to a voting public that is, essentially, “foreign” to me. I believe Mr. Trump is fairly sophisticated in how to deal with this new culture. God bless America!

          2. justanagent

Agreed, but I still prefer the old culture and the code of conduct I learned from my father.

          3. WVF

I don’t disagree. I miss things the way they used to be, but we have been in a cultural meltdown since the 1960’s.

          4. WVF

Sadly, that’s way I see it, and people like Mr. Trump are going to have to adapt to this cultural garbage in order to win. Thankfully, he has refused to be politically correct! Perhaps, that is more than he is willing to do.

  40. ONTIME

Speeches from all turnouts should be revealed by transcript or video record during the elections, this way everything is up front and on the table for all to see…….Politicians lie all the time now so everything they say needs to be noted…..

  41. Patriot_Zoomie75

I don’t see this as a big deal or significanlty different thanc any prior statements, including the priority of the issue of gay marriage versus defending the constitution. Those who think these statements are somehow disavowing what Cruz has said other places are really working hard to convolute the discussion.

  42. Original Anna

What the? When are these politicians going to get it that the majority of U.S. citizens don’t want any more babies to be tortured to death and their body parts sold. When are these politicians going to get it that the majority of U.S. citizens are not interested in homosexual marriage and homosexuals teaching homosexual sex to five year olds in our schools “because it feels good, try it.”, yes to five year olds. And women do not want men in women’s bathrooms. First women are supposed to kill their babies so men can have free sex, than men can marry men leaving women out in the cold, than homosexual men are after the sons of women in the kids own classrooms, and now, men want to be in women’s bathrooms. When is this war against women going to stop. And by the way, New Yorkers did not vote in homosexual marriage. The democrats and rhinos voted for homosexual marriage after a sneaky all night meeting in a backroom, New Yorkers did not get to vote on it. Cuomo wanted it, not us.

  43. Brettwashere

Where is marriage mentioned anywhere in the Constitution?

The 10th Amendment to the Constitution states “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

California, a blue state, voted to abolish same-sex marriage as a state constitutional amendment. The Proposition 8 on the ballot won by a 52-48 margin.

This has always been Cruz’s take on the issue. Read the sourced article from Politico.

  44. Chuck

Sounds to me like Senator Cruz is envisioning a lot less social engineering by a bloated central government. Indeed, these issues are not federal, but state issues. One can only hope that the states, when left on their own, will have some modicum of common sense (unlike New York and California).

  45. TOM

Cruz is a used car saleman, brokered by big corporate monies similar to Hillarys wallet, and look at his pac money he has been getting, can we say WOW

  46. Triple J Jackson

Ok everyone. I see Ted’s this and that and Donald is this and that. Well you all want the cold hard truth? If We as the people and Donald and Ted don’t get along and try to stop the Spoiled brat name calling. Both Ted and Donald will be a memory while Hillary is smoking wet cigars with her girl friend. If you Cry baby’s want to WIN and make America great again for real and it’s not a bunch of bull Crap you guys sell. Well then you over inflated Ego busting soft handed slick talking kids Need to act like Men! And join forces and WIN because together you two will be worth having. But honestly each of you by yourself, well let me put it like this in hunting dogs we call them CULLs. That’s about what we got. But both of you. Now that’s a pair of Game Pit bulls that I’d walk behind anywhere in this evil world! Join together every one of us need to demand it. Or start bowing to the queen Hiltary!

  47. epauls

The only political ‘fact’ I know is that Cruz went to Washington on a promise. He PERFORMED as promised. I know that the Democrat and Republican ‘Establishment’ does not enjoy interference in their plush lifestyle with a lifetime of benefits. We definitely need TERM LIMITS… Many voters seem to believe negatives. Do they know the facts?

  48. justanagent

It sounds to me like he was saying we should respect the 10th amendment and stop trying to “federalize” every issue. Neither abortion nor marriage are mentioned in the Constitution. According to the 10th amendment the age at which one is allowed to marry, whether or not to recognize a homosexual marriage, the age at which one may purchase alcoholic beverages and many other such social issues are matters that each state may decide for itself. The federal government has encroached into areas where it simply has no authority.

Two of TRUMP’s foreign policy team has ties to CFR and NWO. TRUMP said in one of the debates that he gets some of his foreign policy info from a man “he greatly respects” – RICHARD HAAS-CURRENT PRESIDENT OF CFR. He has said that he will have to appoint politicians for positions because he is inexperienced in running a country, will he research these politicians to see how they voted in the past before appointment???

  50. bweez b-wildered b-wise

He said… that the states have the right under the Constitution to make laws regarding the subjects mentioned. Are “you” people all shills from the establishment and trying to keep a true freedom fighter out of the White House? If the president believes in eliminating abortion (for example,) is he going to bust into the WH and start writing illegal executive orders, like Obama did? No, he’s going to encourage the states to see the light and make their own laws regarding the right to life. As the Leader Goes, So Goes the Nation.

  51. charlie

nice job of trashing Ted . You are so stupid to think what you say he said is what he said. anyone that has any reading comprehension understands what he said and what it meant.
and it ir certainly whathe hasbeen saying all along. he will follow the constitution. The true law of the land. and it does not give the fed gvmt any powers THAT ARE NOT ENUMERATED. And those are VERY FEW. They have usurped the constitution and we need the states to take back what is theirs. Ted understands this and will help them do it.

  52. Barbara Schrader

I wouldn’t trust Cruz as far as I could lift him. He lies. All Politicians tell you what you want to hear but they have their own Agenda and Cruz has a big one. He is anti everything.

  53. Phillip Lake

You folks are just now figuring this one out. My wife and I both figured this one out the same time, on the same night of one of the debates. We gave up on Mr. Republican Socialist that night. Marco Rubio would have made a MUCH better person than Cruz.

  54. Ginger

No surprise here. That’s why Trump calls him “Lying Ted”, and why Rubio, Carson, and Trump have all called Cruz a liar. Rafael Ted Cruz and Hillary Rodham Clinton are the two biggest liars running, and both will say anything to get elected, then do something very different. So, no surprise.

  55. Jayhawk Gail

Teds view on same sex marriage has been the same all along. This is not a secret tape and this is a false story because this was at a town hall. Ted has always said it is a state issue and not the federal government issue. Ted main focus is Defend the Constitution, job growth, and national security. So quit misleading the public! Cruz or lose!

  56. texexpatriate

This story is a carefully constructed lie. Cruz has always maintained that the states are to judge what is the business of states and the federal government has no say in it. Ergo, he opposes federal mandates on almost everything except what the Constitution calls for.

  57. 8gary8

Happily, looking foreword to seeing political history in the making. Imagine, wait for it, a non-career, non-professional politician in the White House! If Trump is victorious, we can disenthrall ourselves from the political establishment & hopefully restore the integrity of this nation.

  58. gunnygil

“The Establishment” of political insiders and self serving elitists “rulers” has to go or this nation is doomed no matter who goes into the highest office. And Cruz is definitely one of them

  59. Michael

Ted Cruz has been saying gay marriage should be left to the states all along why is this article trying to say otherwise. Cruz doesn’t flip flop like Trump he stays true to what he says. So sick of the media lying and especially sick of Donald the debate Ducker lying from minute to minute and sometimes even in the same sentence. We need to pay attention and do our own homework Cruz is being attacked by lying Trump and the media and the establishment because he will listen to us and do what is right by the Constitution and they all hate that. Wake up this election is to important with a supreme court in the balance and another crash on the horizon. We don’t need big tariffs they will cause the crash and invlation. Ted Cruz will be better than Reagan, We the people and the Tea Party need to rise higher than before and put Cruz a true Constitutional Conservative in the W.H. Our Republic is at stake. By the way has Trump ever even mentioned the Constitution, NO! Cruz had it memorized as a teenager and he will defend it with all of his heart because he knows it works!

  60. Dave T.

Gee… It’s on the internet…it MUST be true.
I am going to UNSUBSCRIBE from this wolf in sheep’s clothing!!!

  62. heidi

Obviously, this is not REALLY a conservative site – as touted. Since when has defending the Constitution NOT been a TOP conservative priority? Quit trumpeting donnie boy!!! Enough of your so-called “conservative” lies and spin.
