Trump Humiliates Fake News During Graduation

During a speech to recent FBI graduates, President Trump caused a hysterical fit of laughter after a comment he made about fake news.

The POTUS said, “There’s the fake news back there, look,” the audience laughed.

Then Trump said, “No, actually some of them are fine people.”

“Let’s see who’s back there … about 30 percent.”

After he added praise to all law enforcement. “It’s not a news story when our officers save a life, rescue a family, or stop a crime.”

“It’s just another day on the job.  Yet, no matter the circumstances, you serve tirelessly, selflessly, and heroically.  You do it because you really believe in doing your duty and doing it properly.”

  • vladilyich

The only one humiliated would have been Trump.

    • SeanM62

After calling the FBI a disaster behind their backs, Trump goes to the academy and calls them heroes. Classic Trump cowardice.

      • Selah!

Both can be true! Few are bad… most are good. Duh!

        • Beirish65

Most of management is anti-American and are traitors to the United States of America. Those in the lower levels are true American patriots in the FBI, NSA and CIA.

          • SeanM62

Let me guess – FBI management would be true patriots if they were tracking down Dems, but traitors if they touch a hair on beloved and perfect emperor Crooked Donald.

          • jon

i do wonder if the 62 is your IQ as you show a one sided bias and a failure to see the truth of your party even when it is right in front of you.

          • SeanM62

Argumentum ad hominem? You lose. 33% of the US agrees with you. The rest of the world (minus Russia) disagrees with you. Why is that? Could it be that you are biased yourself even when it is right in front of you??

          • Beirish65

How is President Trump a crook?

          • apzzyk

How isn’t he? He has gone bankrupt 5 or 6 times leaving the little guy holding the bag; the reason why he has no debt from any major US bank is that every time he has gone bankrupt he has left them and the taxpayers paying off is debt. The Constitution forbids an elected person from making profit from his official office – how much did the taxpayers pay for the additional security at his resorts when he could have used Camp David for free? Why has the GSA not closed down the new DC hotel that they leased to Trump, which is making twice as much as expected? Why did he get by with spending more for AF-1 to take personal vacations at his resorts in the first 6 months in office than Obama spent in 8 years?

          • Beirish65

You stated that under the constitution the elected officials may not make money from his office. Well, every single president In the 20th century and the 21st-century has made a profit. Where have you been? Bush Senior and Bush Junior have made money, the Clintons have made money, $500,000 speeches in Russia and uranium one, Obama has made money.

          • Beirish65

Apparently you have not read my entries but the Democratic Party and the Republican Party establishment rhinos should all be put in prison for perjury, obstruction of justice, fraud, money laundering, treason and sedition for life.

          • apzzyk

FYI – the ‘globalist movement’ began in 1492, and eventually most of the industrial nations found that that cooperation and compromise were far more profitable than was nationalism and war. Who has been indicted and even plead guilty to lying to the FBI, money laundering, acting as an unregistered agent of a foreign government – the coup what FOX news talks about is actually about the Trump gang trying to subvert the constitution and rule of law that has been developed over the last 2 centuries. The way that Trump would have it is that the Founders were all against him because they did not wait for his approval before signing the Constitution. His idea of making America Great Again seems to be resulting in the US becoming more irrelevant every day. He does not even realize that without the rest of the world the US cannot make anything. Look under the hood or your car and find all of the parts that were made overseas; look at your hardware store and find a nut, bolt, screw or nail that was not made in the US; look at the source of the vegies in your produce department. Look at his great idea about putting everyone on SNAP to work when over 50% of those receiving it are kids under 18 and then there are the at least 33% who are elderly and disabled. By cutting out the child health care program how many more moms will be working the streets to try to pay for medical care for their kids? As a 100% disabled vet, I will get a 2% cost of living adjustment this next year, while the Trump gang will only save a Billion in taxes.

          • Beirish65

Where did you obtain your information?

          • apzzyk

The study of history. For example, over 1,000 BC Athens was made up of 7 clans that were constantly in blood fueds when the wise among them thought that it would be better to be a center of commerce rather than just a bunch of feuding farmers. They appointed a slave named Draco or Dracon to solve the problem as a neutral party, and with the leaders of all of the clans agreeing to follow his directions, he made his Homocide law which called for the immediate execution (also by a slave) or any Athenian who took the life of another Athenian, and this was followed, and it did not take very long until there was peace in Atica – the province which could become a city state and bind the people together to provide the peaceful climate that was conducive to trade and general prosperity, by combining their resources and making a good port out of Pireaus, where foreign shipping could come, be charged a fee for being in a protected area, and be taxed on what they sold to other traders.
Now in the US we are getting too much competition and too much greed in the US. In this tax plan, the Blue and Progressive states, which should serve as a model to the other states are being penalized, for taxing their people so that they can have better qualities of life and attract new businesses. Right now, NY state sends $100 to DC to support the low tax states for every 75 cents that is returned to it by the Federal Government, and CA probably has an even lower return on tax rate than NY. By limiting Federal Tax deductions for state Taxes, both CA and NY will get less in return than now, so that the low tax states can keep their low taxes. I live in NE CO, where there will be a growth of over 10,000 people in the next 2 or so years – the really good wage jobs which did not depend on Tax Cuts and have been in the works for years, and this is happening because those who already live here have been willing to raise taxes on themselves to pay for the new schools and infrastructure that will be needed before our new residents arrive to share the tax burden. There was the low tax experiment in KS under Gov Brownback where the taxes were lowered, intending to attract new industry, with a crumbling infrastructure and just cut after cut to public education – instead of attracting new industries, the ones that were there went away and none came back to take their places.
Some years ago, while I was working as a contrator at the nuclear weapons plant W of Denver, I was between assignments and saw that the trend to think that lower taxes attracted industry, such as in MS, which had the lowest cost of living and the highest rate of poverty in the US and was very Conservative, was not working, but it seemed to be the model that all other states were following, so I wrote a little paper which I titled ‘Cathcing down with MS’ which seems to have been predictive. We no longer really have a United States, we have the Blue ones that are progressive and the Red ones which could not support themselves.
When Brown came back into office, CA was $50B in debt, and just in the term that he has been in office, the State debt has been paid and it now has a state surplus, and its citizens are beginning to ask why they should donante their money to the low tax states. Right now, CA is the 6th largest economy in the world, and the big danger to the Conservatives is that it will raise taxes on its own citizens, deduct them from Federal Income taxes and that will leave the Red states to try to figure out how to survive on their own low taxes.
WY is a low tax state that is only 70 miles away that only has a population of about 70K, and why aren’t the new appartment complexes that have popped up in Longmont, CO over the past year, going to Cheyenne? It is all about having the existing infrastructure and being willing to tax ourselves to make it better before the new comers arrive. 70 years ago when I grew up in Longmont it was a rural town of 5,000, by 2020, it will be a clean industry city of over 100,000 while Cheyenne has only gone from about 55K to 70K over the same period. I really liked living just outside of the town proper, but have adapted to the idea of growth. Since the foreclosure crisis of 8 years ago when my home was underwater, my home of over 75 years has gained in resale value so that it would now sell in a day at over 2.5 times what it would have sold for then. How has your resale value fared? The new apartments are renting for twice my mortgage payment.

          • Beirish65

Are you being paid by George Soros? Your ignorance is bliss. The New World Order aka The Globalist Movement does not help anybody or anything. You need to read up on George Soros, Bill Gates and many other billionaires along with the New World Order. Do you even understand what the New World Orders purpose and final act? One world government, one world currency, one world power. They want to have 500 million on the planet and the rest of us go to the gas chambers. They will get rid of the elderly and the disabled along with those that don’t fall in line. They want to enslave a working class so that they can do whatever the hell they want to do all over the world. This is history repeating itself.

          • apzzyk

FYI – I get all of the funding that I need to oppose the coming Trump dictatorship from my VA pension. Even though I sat on my ass for most of my 4 years in the Corps, I did the supply necessary to keep the troops in the field. The grunts really appreciated that I got them food and even TP where and when whatever they needed was needed. Troops without guns and bullets cannot do their mission. As a Marine I always had my rifle handy so that I could at least defend myself and the others in my unit. Meanwhile, back in the US Trump got deferrments for his heel spurs while some of the guy who had gotten hurt were limping around on their casts while they recovered from their wounds so that they could go back to being grunts.
What you call the ‘New World Order’ has been developing since man gathered into tribes and began trading with other tribes. The Egyptians used Cedar from Lebonon in the construction of the caskets for their dead leaders because Egypt had no forests or trees. The Nile was used to transport the stone from the South to build the pyramids in Giza. As man expanded his territory from Africa out to Asia and Europe. As man expanded his territory he found that things that were available elsewhere were not present where he was and this created a demand for goods and materials. Right now the US has no deposits of those ‘rare earth metals’ that are necessary in our electronics, so they are imported from where they are found – mostly in Africa. In order to be able to buy them we must have relationships with the countries in which they are found and we are not the only ones. If the basics of what you call the ‘New World Order’ had not been in place our Southern States would have had no market for their single product economy – cotton – before the Civil War. With this war, the Northern States still needed cotton where it would not grow, so it was imported from Egypt and other places. If you are so much against this ‘New World Order’ just buy totally US made products, and you will find that you have nothing to buy. Since the 1970’s our ability to mass produce fasteners – nuts, bolts, screws and nails, have all gone to Asia – check out your hardware store, and try to find something like this made in the USA. I learned how to take raw steel and make hand-drawn (square) nails in Ag shop, and at my best I could almost make a pound an hour, but these were worthless for shingling because they had no heads. I happen to have an almost fully equiped shop so I can actually make a bolt, but nuts are a different matter. Again, I am not really that efficient – it would take me an hour to make a bolt that I could buy for pennies at the hardware store that is made in China. In the 1970’s Congress passed a law that would have forced us to convert from the SAE nut and bolt standard to the metric system that is used in the rest of the world, but in the name of keeping the US strong (ad different) this did not happen, but what di was that components for cars and trucks which used the metric fastener standard are now made using the metric standard – your alternator, starter, the computer in your car and truck, etc. so when you try to fix something you will need both metric and standard, and with us being the only ones that has stuck to standard, all that China needs to do to put us out of business would be to quit making the SAE fasteners = we are totally vulnerable in this basic area. Then look at the other things that you used daily – we no longer make TV sets, never made cell phones or PC’s for the past 25 or so years. Look at your produce department – nearly all of the winter veggies grown in Mexico because we will not let the terrorist migrant laborors in to work the fields in CA and FL. The cabin in which the Unibomber made is probably stilll avaiable for those who do not like the New World Order..

          • apzzyk

My first contact with mass death came on 11/1/55. My HS class was building the homecoming float in a garage that belonged to a classmates father and there was no smoking because of the solvents, so I stepped out to have a smoke and was joined by 3 other classmates. We were facing E. and saw what we thought was a barn explosion – hay gas (methane), so we jumped in a car to go help rescue the animals and do what we could. When we reached the site, about 7 miles away, the barn was in tact, but there was the burning nose section of a passenger plane in the plowed field. We got out to see what had happened, and a National Guard Truck pulled into the field and I was drafted to carry blankets to cover the bodies and body parts, and was the last in line, so when I ran out of blankets there were bodies left, so the Guardsman gave me his flashlight an told me to guard these bodies until relieved, which happened about 5-5 hour later. 4 of the 5 just looked like they had laid down to take a nap so I kept running around trying to find life signs, one, probably a steweress was obviously dead – she had blood that had streamed out of her mouth and had dried, so all I did was pull down her skirt and close her eyes. I was relieved by another classmate and taken home. What had happened was a guy in Denver who had attempted to kill his mom before according to the paper, and put a case of dynomite into one of her suitcases and estimated the time so that it would have gone down over the CO WY border, but the plane was delayed by about 30 min so it went off just as the plane was crossing the St. Vrain River – 30 min out of Denver.
I was 16 and now there would have been counselors all over but then none.
In June, 1957, right after I graduated from HS. I joined the USMC, and the following march at Camp Pendleton was assigned to drive an old WWII jeep ambulance to drive supplies to outlying emergecy med facilities, but what happened that morning was that one of those Banna Express storms hit the coast just as the amphibious landings were starting. Landing craft were not meant to work in 15-20 foot surfs, so instead of landing craft, the beach filled up with bodies and my jeep ambulance became the morgue truck, and because the severity of the storm was not recognized at the time, the field problem went on for almost a week with Marines dying every day. Trucks went into srreams that were usually inches deep, but were now 5′ deep and washed away along with their passengers – so there were 10 drowned in one incident, and other similar things. To keep the total death list quiet, I seem to have been the only morgue truck operating. Eventually this got into my head and there was PTSD (again) even before it had an official name. This made me not fit to be around, but they found me a job which did not require that much contact with others, and eventually I got out on a Medical – a Klinger without having to wear a dress.
            Thanks for your interest.

        • SeanM62

True. But – Local cops don’t like them because they tend to be arrogant. They manufacture evidence to prosecute and destroy unwanted evidence. Their labs tend to over-estimate their abilities (ex: hair evidence, etc.) and they tend to support the government case rather than impartially collect and evaluate evidence impartially, especially with minority individuals and groups.

Typical Demonrat still in denial. Trump has more guts in his little finger than you’ll ever have. Most News is fake and have been caught in hundreds of lies and he’s not afraid to
Call them on it – long overdue. The FBI leadership is proven to be Corrupt and rightfully identified as so by Trump-Not the new graduating class Moron. You Dems are hell bent on
Trying to paint a false picture of our great POTUS and it won’t work anymore-the common sense group is now running this country. You the Dems do not serve everyday Americans; nor are they our friends who care for us! They will lie, cheat, steal, take bribes, allow our enemies to get stronger as we get weaker BY THEIR HAND, and they will destroy people or have those they consider threats to their warped version of the ‘greater good’ put ‘away’, one way or another (Vince Foster, Ron Brown and many others)! They consider God and our Constitution as obstacles to their twisted agenda as both the Diety and the Document both hold them to account for their actions. Republicans are not perfect but with our assistance we can move them to where they are serving U.S. and a greater future, one with Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness as the main points of focus! Now, if we can only get the numbers required to push back all the Illegal and terrorist voters which they are trying to add to their ill-gotten voter contingent.

The democratic platform has done way to much dammage to our country and those within to ever trust that platform again. The icing on the cake was their selection of a devout Muslim ( OBummer) to serve as our POTUS ( Who swore to be a Christian and US born citizen- nonsense). And they wanted to put the most corrupt and lieing candidate To ever run – Hildabeast in charge. Their is no end to their corruption and destruction to our values/constitution/Allies. They promote: gay rights, abortion ( responsible for 100 million deaths of fetuses), athiesm ( taking God out of America),illegal immigration, Muslim immigration (people who will try to destroy our way of life- sharia law), socialism ( sponsor is Sorros), communism, ignoring our constitution ( all swore to support it before taking public office), world order/takeover, corruption, and cheating at the polls ( over 5 mil illegal votes recorded in 2016- making Trump the Popular vote as well) to get their ways— they are the “SAiTAN” within America and have lost their way. No wonder a record amount of democrats are abandoning this platform by the thousands after showing its ugly head.

The vote in the UN today indicates what the world thinks of Trump, his policies and his honesty. Was it 15 to 1? He is isolating the US from the world as the world continues on to 2018 and The Donald drags us back to 1888. Obama was caught lying 18 times in 8 years, Trump has been caught lying 103 times in the first 10 months of his administration. Also just today he lied about helping the middle class, when 83% of the tax benefits will accrue top the top 1%, including himself. Pathetic suckering. Including you.

          • Beirish65

The UN is the most corrupt organization on the planet and your praising them? Give me a break the UN could give a rats ass about most black people on the planet in poor nations or for that matter anybody of color. The UN is the most pathetic bunch of evil bastards on the planet. No you’re the sucker. By the way where do you obtain your information? CNN or MSNBC?

How did President Trump humiliate himself when he was referring to the fake news? The news media in this country is despicable, deceitful and evil. They will do anything and say anything to protect the Clinton machine. The most real POTUS we have had since Reagan! And HE scares the hell out of DC! MAGA!

      • shirley doughty

I kind of disagree. HE is the most real, but I think t he last REAL president was JFK. That’s why Johnson had him killed, cause he was working for the people and th NWO people didn’t like the way he was taking us.

        • Beirish65

This is what we mean when we say he’s a real president because he’s not bought and paid for by the New World Order or does he work on behalf of George Soros their leader and puppet master of the New World Order. Carter, Bush Senior and Bush Junior, Clinton and Obama were all puppets and bought and paid for by the New World Order. This is why the Bush family, the Clinton family, the Obama family, the Democratic Party and the Republican Party establishment RINOs are all upset and scared at the same time because their house of cards is being torn apart. This is excellent because the powers that they’ve accumulated over the years over the citizens of the United States of America need to be abolished and eliminared. We must get back to the Republic not the American Socialist party.

          • shirley doughty

I so agree with you. They should have been taken down years ago, and no one seem to have the guts to do it. I was too naïve to realize during Johnson and even through one or too others, but the last democrat I voted for was JFK. Of course I don’t vote for any party. I vote for the man or woman I think will do the job according to my beliefs of what is good for our country and it’s CITIZENS not all theillegals and refugees. “Trump humiliates fake news…”? Right. Of course, Trump promoted fake news for years- the phony Obama birth certificate story- in an apparent attempt to keep his name in the headlines. He has continued to peddle fake news in the White House- crowd size, illegal votes, etc. He humiliates himself almost daily.

    • ABitofThought

Obama birth certificate – What I have seen published as a birth certificate is a forgery that even I could have done a better job of making.

      • W. Coyote

ABitofThought- Good morning and thank you for your reply. Sounds like you disagree with Trump- After years of promoting his racist lie, he finally admitted “President Obama was born in the U.S., period” Then he said he didn’t want to talk about it any more, presumably because he would to admit he was wrong all those years.
As I am sure you are aware, the State of Hawaii certified the birth certificate as legitimate.

        • ABitofThought

That’s news to me – If what you say is true, then somebody get paid off handsomely.

          • Beirish65

What he says is not true because he’s a good socialist that believes in what CNN tells him. The reason why President Trump didn’t want to talk about it anymore is because several sheriffs accross the country were looking at the legitimacy of the birth certificate and they found out that it was a forgery.

          • W. Coyote

I don’t think anyone “paid off” Trump. My guess is that his children finally talked some sense into him.

      • Juanito Ibañez

I wouldn’t go so far as to claim either of the released “Obama Birth Certificates” were “fake”, seeing as how they were a printout of information contained in the Hawaiian database and inserted into their limited-format, computer-generated certificates.

IF Barry O had _really_ wanted to put the whole issue to bed, he would have directed the Hawaiian officials to get off their lazy asses, go to the archives, retrieve the original and prepared a photocopy of the ORIGINAL certificate … then certified that as a “True and Correct” copy of that original.

Instead, Barry used the whole thing as a diversion from the other things he had going on.

    • Beirish65

How can Obama’s birth certificate that is a forgery be fake news?

      • Joe Williams

And how comes, that a female witness about that fraud was the only one to die, when her aircraft ditched off Hawaii ? Strangely she was alive and not injured, as long, as the video of the ditching was rolling…

      • W. Coyote

Beirish65- Good morning and thank you for your reply. Let me guess- Sandy Hook was a false flag, 9/11 was an inside job, the moon landing was shot in Hollywood, and Elvis is still alive. Does that sum it up for you?

        • Beirish65

          Ignorance is bliss

          • W. Coyote

Well I hope you are feeling blissful today.

        • Beirish65

Ignorance is bliss. Let me guess you probably think Obamacare is solvent and helps all people. You probably don’t even know that Obama is stealing money and committing fraud from Fredie and Fannie secondary mortgage market to pay for the insolvent Obamacare. You probably also think that it’s just the Republican Party that has her deficits up to 20+ trillion dollars? You probably also think universal healthcare could be solvent in this country? You probably also think that the liberal socialist Democratic Party has all the answers to America’s problems? No Sandyhook I don’t have any information or thoughts on that. But as far as 911 goes, follow the money and look towards the New World Order and there puppet master and leader George Soros. Why do you think 9/11 occurred? What happened after 911 that lost us some freedoms and liberties because of Security? Did we really need homeland security? NDAA? How many unconstitutional laws and pieces of legislation have passed since 911? You probably don’t even know that the Democratic Party and the Republican Party establishment RINOs Are basically the same and want the same conclusion. Their conclusion is to continue to steal our wealth and place us in a subservient and enslaved position. These evil politicians want the elderly and the disabled to be removed from the earth and the working class to work so that they can live off of their hard work and tax dollars.

Hello again Beirish- Thank you for supplying more detail. I would never claim that Obamacare is perfect. It was compromise legislation which blended together Republican principles (including the individual mandate) and Democrat principles and included many Republican amendment (about one-third of the total bill). It was never intended to “help all people”. It was intended to drive down the number of uninsured people as a means to deal with a crisis in health care in this country. The number of uninsured people in the US has fallen from about 44% to 28%. Currently Obamacare covers between 2 and 3 % of Americans. In the meantime the number of medical bankruptcies has been cut in half.
If you really wanted to “follow the money” you would take a look at Sheldon Adelson, who is a big Republican donor and has more money than George Soros. You would take a look at the Koch Brothers- combined they have almost 5 times as much money as Soros. And you would really want to take a look at the Walton family (Walmart) While outsourcing American manufacturing to China, they have amassed the largest combined fortune of any family in the US. Are you saying they are responsible for 9/11?
There is only one Democratic Socialist in the Democratic party (Bernie). And no , I don’t think Democrats have all the answers.

          • Beirish65

I did not exclude the Republican Party establishment RINOs from the discussion. I was just stating a fact that George Soros is the leader in face and puppet master of the New World Order. The New World Order is composed of many millionaires and billionaires on both sides of the aisle that could give a rats ass about any of us. All they wanna do is enslave us and take our wealth away. Have you heard of agenda 21? Do you know the power of FEMA?

          • W. Coyote

“George Soros is the leader in face and puppet master of the New World Order”? Really? What is your evidence for such a claim?

    • Beirish65

well, I guess if you read the Harvard paper there was voter fraud all across United States of America by the Clinton machine. They were between 5 to 10,000,000 illegal aliens, people building five or more times and dead people voting. What do you call that? That is called voter fraud. I guess you don’t like hearing the truth so you listen to CNN, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, Fox, and NBC for your reality news. You’re just humiliating yourself right now

      • W. Coyote

Did you read the “Harvard review”? It was actually not done at Harvard but was done by a “conservative think tank” in which they played some tricks –

“Brian Schaffner, a political science professor at the University of Massachusetts Amherst who helps manage the data source the 2014 analysis was based on, debunked that analysis in November, saying it extrapolated based on answers from respondents that were likely errors.”
There is no support for Trump’s claim about illegal votes. He was upset he didn’t win the popular vote and needed a story to distract his supporters.

        • Beirish65

No buddy you play some tricks. Your ignorance is overwhelming let’s just forget the conversation. President Trump not only won the electoral college but he also won the popular vote. Facts are facts and fiction is fiction. It’s OK that you socialists listen to CNN, MSNBC, ABC, NBC and Fox but there are truthful news media that you report the facts.

Why don’t you birthers just stick to beating dead horses and stay out of the public dialogue?

      • W. Coyote

apzzyk- Good afternoon and thank you for your reply. I agree completely. The birthers are beating a dead horse. However, I can assure you there are still a lot of birthers out there who continue to cling to that nonsense.

  • apzzyk

Trump has not, and probably never will, learn that you do not make yourself look better by trying to demean others. Gillibrand asking Trump for a campaign contribution? I taught at the U level for several years and I heard far more than once “I would do anything for a higher grade” from female students, so I have some personal famliarity with that. Then, at Pensacola there was his boast that he had been the most productive president ever – fact checking showed that he was behind GW Bush. His stupid tax plan to try to tax poverty even more, will probably not make it through the Courts – the restriction on deductability for state taxes and mortgage interest are probably Unconsitutional under the 10th Amendment – goes strait to the ability of the States to tax their own people, and also may violate the equal protection clause of the 14th Amendment. In his most hated state, CA, it was able to go from a deficit of over $50 Billion when Brown took office to a surplus this year. Why don’t we as a country, follow this good example? Then there is the reality – we began hearing from Reagan that the solution to the sagging economy was to cut taxes on the wealthy and following the erroneous assumption of Adam Smith in “Weaalth of Nations” – the bible of classical economics – those getting the cuts would spend the money in building new factories and creating good jobs – the tax cuts would pay for themselves. They built the factories where the labor was cheaper – not here, and by changing the definition of unemployment created the illusion that is still used today that we have full employment, where it is very far from that – nationally at over 10% of those between 18 and 65 woulllld take a full time job at the appropriate level considering education and experience if one came available. A vote tor Trump was a vote against providing free retraining to those without the skills currently needed. If the factories had been built here we would need all of the labor that Mexico could supply.
The tax bill rests on some questionable assumptions. The first is that someone will loan us more money so that we can actually fund the necessary increase in the national debt, given the previous failures. The reason that we owe China over $1.2 Trillion was that it was good business for them to loan us money – at the time. With the loss of good paying jobs over the past 37 years, our consumer base has fallen from 2/3 of the population to less than 50% of the population, and many of those left buying on the plastic and when it comes to paying the debt off learn the hard way that paying interest does not buy you anything. The Administration and the current congress has not learned this so in order to just service the debt – make the minimum payments due, and keep the myth alive, the Federal Government has had to break contracts. For example, when I enlisted in the USMC one part of the sales pitch that I got was that if I was injured in service, which I was, that the VA would provide me with a pension and Healthcare if I could not provide for myself. My pension is a part of the national debt in the 14th Amendment, but my healthcare is a matter of annual appropriations, which have been subject to the annual sequester law of 2% cuts to the VA budget every year for the past 6 or so – in other words not based on need. For those who believed Trump that the taking of a knee by the NFL players did damage to the vets, the budget was not increased again this year to meet the needs – how about 2 month waits to see your primary care doctor? How about the new scandal at the Denver VA about not having enough counselors to see those with PTSD – only one known vet has blown his brains out so far because of this. Where is the putting of the money where the mouth is? With the passing of the Antiquities Act in about 1902, the federal government took on the responisiblity of protecting the lands with historic significance from harm. Now Trump wants to sell two of these lands to the highest bidder for explotation of natural resources. When will he sell Yellowstone for its thermal energy to the highest bidder? After the House convenenes next year the plan is to go after the horrible ‘entitlements’ – the money that the government borrowed from Social Security and Medicare and Public employees retirement to give to the wealthy to build these factories overseas? With a decreasing consumer base will we have any consumers left to buy the goods made overseas? Will I be able to buy my friend a brand new 2017 model car this time next year because of the left over inventory? The 700 Billion in tax breaks that Carrier got to keep manufacturing in IN have gone to Mexico anyway – no contract to do something in exchange for the tax breaks here either. Contract law also applies to the best of both Social Security and Medicare and Government Retirement – once earned cannot be reduced without individual due process.
Second, why do the markets vary with the progress of the tax bill. This is called market inflation – too many dollars competing for too few stocks. Less than 50% and going down, parts of the population are actually in the market. The market is the safest investment that one can have, but with the price of stocks today the average person cannot afford to buy even one share of anything. Then there is the fact that by putting the breaks on US involvement in the world in the name of soverighty, the US has already lost much influece in the world. We are the only ones to pull out of the Paris Climate accord at the Federal level, but Blue states are staying with it. By getting the European countries to pay more into NATO, our presence is becoming less necessary, to the Defense of Europe and makes it questionable as to whether they will come to our aid in an emergency. Did Trump and Congress, by lowering the tax rates remember Ireland, which still has a lower rate on all income taxes than we have. By restricting immigration, will the Tech companies really go to immigrant friendly (compared to us) to actually do work and pay taxes there? How about buying materials from overseas to increase the balance of trade defictit to build the great wall? If Mexico cashes in its $500B in US bonds, what to do? Does the $70B trade deficit with Mexico this year have anything to do with the lack of migrant labor? Check out your produce department and find a US grown vegie. Check your hardware store for a US made nut, bolt or screw?
Lets hear some more FAKE news on how not funding the child health program will be good for kids.

    • Finder1009

i have a much better idea than your demo babble, try reading the history of the 8 years of Obama’s crime spree. HE is the one who caused all these problems, Trump is trying to fix them thru all the democratic interference.

      • apzzyk

I have enough college credits to have a Masters in History, so I can see when we are repeating the same mistakes that brought down civilizations and societies over the past 9,000 or so years. How many of Obama’s EO’s were declared unconstitutional – that would be none. How about Trump – that would be at least parts of all. Now we have the great Tax reform Act, which will be blocked by the courts on several Constitutional issues. If being constitutional constitutes democratic interference, you do not belong in my country. Congress is so pro life that it has failed to renew the child health care act. Trump is so much about due process that his first immigration EO was totally unconsitutional; his new EO on the language that can be used in budget request will also fall. His ragging on the NFL players taking a knee on the basis that they are dishonoring vets is just a bunch of crap to me as a 100% disabled vet. Really being dishonered is not fully funding Vet benefits. Trump nagged about the ACA being a failure, while I only have to wait for 2 months to see my primary health care provider? How about that vet out of Denver who suicided because he could not get mental health care? I have PTSD and have not been able to get to see a VA counselor for 5 years because delays in treatment cost me the vision in one eye – that is really honoring us vets. Next year they will begin the attack on the ‘entitlements’ of Social Security and Medicare – earned benefits. My basement got flooded in 2013, and I had replacement insurance on contents and State Farm paid me a lot of money to restore my basement to its original condition with furnishings – Trump, as a businessman, tried to beat his contractors out of the full amount of the contract. One painter, got about 2/3 of the contract price, sued and got the remainder from Trump and Trump got the legal bill for about $3 Million – should the US follow his good business practice and violate the Full Faith and Credit Clause?
Why, according to his forced disclosures to the Campaign Finance commission does Trump owe German banks over $300 million and US banks almost nothing? Does it have something to do with the good business practice of going bankrupt at least 5 times, and sticking the US banks and taxpayer with the bills?
Where were all of these crimes during Obama or the ones committed by the Clintons? Do you just mean that there ought to have been a law against something? The E-mails were a matter of policy violation, and when examined, nothing could be found. Gowdy could have recommended changes to the law, but didn’t so we are stuck with 100 year old laws that do not cover modern technology – being against any change at all is not conservative – it is reactionary.
Since our first know really experiment with capitalism at Minoa about 5,000 years ago, gradually and over time, the wealthy accumulated just more wealth which left the people with a very much have and not-have economy where the wealthy would not even spend enough to keep the ports up and operating so that there could be trade, and lost it all when the workers just left for greener pastures. With the tax cuts to corporations, do you really think that after about 37 years of the same old claims that they will finally do what is intended? Fat chance?
How about the new EO on what words can not be used in new budget requests? Could the banned word of ‘Fetus’ might become something that is more PC to the anti-abortion (anti-freedom of choice) movement.
Here in an FYI that the GOP does not want you to know – during his first 4 years in office Obama deported more illegals than GW did in 8; about 3 years ago Obama asked for over $3 Billion to build 3 new dention centers to hold them for the time required after being found, and got the money for 1 – to save the taxpayers money. Not funding things when they need to be funded costs more money in the long run. How long would you let your roof leak before being repaired? How long would you drive on a flat tire?

        • Joe Williams

All your so-called knowledge ignores one simple fact: federal tax is actually unconstitutional, read it up ! Thus all of your elaboration about tax deductibility is complete trash. The federation has no obligation to compensate states for overspending, because this is a hallmark of Socialism. Only states are supposed to raise taxes, but it was a Democrat, who promised a short-term taxation for a war effort, which was never ended. That president was clearly a liar !

          • apzzyk

Keep that in mind when you are in a Federal Prison, along with others who believe the same thing. Art. I gives Congress the sole right to raise money (taxes) and say how it is to be spent, and the Full Faith and Credit clause in the body of the Constitution makes the Federal Government liable for the debts of the States – a limit was place on this with the 14th Amendment where the US said that the Federal Government would not pay the debts of the States that had Suseded from the Union. All of the States in the Union have similar clauses in their constitution which allow their legislative bodies, down to cities and townships and other taxing authorities to raise money to benefit their people. Where I live in N. CO., I pay property taxes to at least 6 or 7 different taxing authorities, to the county for distribution to the other taxing authorities.
Historically, the worse thing that a government can do is to tax its own people. Athens, for example, raised the money for its government by offering safe harbor for a fee to ships at its port, and it also had colonies, where the people had to pay tribute to the home Polis (city state) the reason why Athens lasted longer than the other city states was that it had more colonies and a better port.
One of the stated reasons for our revolution was the ‘taxes without representation is tyrany idea’ where all of our original states were colonies of England and sources of its revenue. With independence, the Federal Government took the responsibility for collecting all import and export taxes and distributed them to the states so that the states could be forbidden from taxing the produce of the other states.
The first Federal Income taxes, which only applied to the then very wealthy – annual incomes of $5,000 or more because during the war and the blockaids import and export taxes were not enough to pay for the North’s side of the war – which included the very small amounts paid to the members of the Union forces. The 14th Amendment also makes veteran pensions a constitutional right, which is why I do not pay income taxes on my VA pension, and really do not have to pay any of my debts except those secured with mortgages, etc.
Following our experience in the Civil War, when WWI began our income from import and export taxes fell, so we got the income tax again, and again, only the wealth paid income taxes. Strangely enough, with the taxes paid by the wealthy the federal government could continue to redistribute wealth from the places where they had some to the places where there was little or no source of revenue. CO rejected Statehood when offered several times so that its citizens would not pay any Federal taxes – the same as Puerto Rico today.

“How many of Obama’s EO’s were declared unconstitutional…”

How many were tested in court?

BTW: seeing as how I haven’t kept up, how many of President Trump’s Executive Orders have been declared “unconstitutional” by the ultimate arbiter: the Supreme Court of the United States?

          • apzzyk

None of Obama’s were declared to be unconstitutional because none were challenged on that basis. The only one that was sent back to the district court for hearings and the presentation of evidence was the one on the temporary amnesty for adult illegals who were the parents of US born kids. None of Trump’s have been challenged on this basis – the fact that he did not follow the Administrative Procedures Act (5 USC 553-559), and what is worse, is that the congress did not even follow this set of laws in passing the new Tax Bill. There is case law that states that even Congress cannot ignore the laws passed by a previous Congress or even the current one. There were only token hearings at best, where the chair of committee called it to order, then smashed the gavel again saying that the hearing was over – no testimony given by any witnesses under oath. It can be challenged as a whole on that basis as well as others, and at best will not go into effect for months or years. One of the possible Constitutional bases is that the current congress can not obligate future congresses to do anything. The obligation would have to fall back on Contract law, where the Court ruled a couple of years ago that the US, as a party to a contract, may not reduce the rights of the other parties to the contract without the agreement of the other parties. This might apply when it comes to Ryan’s coming attacks on ‘entitlements’ such as Social Security, Medicare and Government pensions including those of vets. For example, when I enlisted in the USMC, I signed an enlistment CONTRACT, where the government (taxpayers) agreed to take care of me and my medical needs if I was injured in the line of duty. This would mean at minimum, the healthcare that was given to disabled vets at that time. By underfunding the VA healthcare system over the years in the name of saving the taxpayers money and reducing the size of government, the VA has not done this and because of this has caused me further damage. I could simply file suit against the VA for breach of contract and claim the resulting damage, but that might take years. On the other hand, there is the Federal Tort Claims Law, where the government has taken the liability for the actions of government employees in malpractice – can be sued like any other person with the exception of punitive damages. Last FY the VA paid out over $40 in taxpayers dollars for similar claims. The VA Inspector General has already admitted that the Denver VA medical care area has committed malpractice due to delays in providing mental health care to vets in this part of the system. I have been trying to get an appointment for 5 years with an medical discharge diagnosis of Major Depression – malpractice on steroids. The last reported settlement for a claim like mine was $3.2 million.
The meaning of this is that the Government should abide by its contract obligations
Although I, along with over 99.9% of the population have not read the tax bill, it is possible that it is unconstitutional because those who voted for it, would profit from it next year where the Constitution says that an elected official cannot make a profit from his office. Members of Congress make about $200K per year and would get a big tax break unless they have exempted themselves along with Trump and his appointees. Haste makes waste and a stitch in time saves nine.

Carter, Bush Senior, Clinton, Bush Junior and Obama have all broken the rule of law many times during the administration’s. But because we have a judicial system that is bought and paid for or blackmailed by their leader and puppet master George Soros of the New World Order whom is not only trying to destroy America but humanity. If you are not familiar with the New World order that has been around for centuries they want to have one world government, one world power and one world currency. They want the entire world to include no more than 500 million on the planet. Most billionaires are part of the New World order it just so happens that George Soros is their leader and puppetmaster that is in charge of the Democratic Party and the Republican Party establishment rhinos. If you follow the money and you have read, not college class material, but actually read with the New World order is all about they want to enslave the working class under their new type of regime.

          • Juanito Ibañez

“I, along with over 99.9% of the population have not read the tax bill…”

‘We have to pass the [ObamaCare] bill to find out what’s in it.’
            –Nancy Pelosi

            🙂

        • Beirish65

Just because the Justice Department is bought and paid for or blackmailed by there puppet master and leader George Soros of the New World order there would be zero of Obama’s executive orders or pieces of legislation that would never be under scrutiny and therefore will never be shown as unconstitutional.
