Rep. Gaetz Asks For Sessions To Step Down

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) announced that it was Attorney General Jeff Sessions time to “step aside” as head of the Justice Department.

“I think that he is impaired in doing the job and frankly he should step aside,” Gaetz stated. “Jeff Sessions is not in control of the Department of Justice right now. Rod Rosenstein is.”

“We can do better,” Gaetz said. Do you think Gaetz is right?

  • Christian_Patriot7

YES!! Rep, Gaetz, go beat Sessions over the head and make him step down!! Sessions is running interfearence for the Deep State!! Send a letter to Sessions, harass him into stepping down!!

    • Charles Almon

      Gaetz need s a drink

      • mountie

You need a few brain cells.

        • Charles Almon

Without his booze Loony Gaetz thinks he’s a pundit
          and important intellectual conservative voice,
He’s a male Tomi Lahren. Google his lousy “cred”.

          • Martha Serafini

Agreed. Gates is just another self-promoting fool.

      • Darrel Davidson

That’s The Problem Chuck, The Dem’s Got You Drinking The Kool Aid…

        • Roger

          Yep!

        • Martha Serafini

No, that’s not kool-aid. That’s called listening to and reading multiple sources both here and abroad (NPR,PBS,CNN, CBS, ABC, BBC, NBC) so that you know you are basing your opinions on facts instead of relying on Fox and Breitbart. They dumb you people down, which is just how Trump wants you.

  • Chris Robinette

If Sessions is not going to do his job then he needs to resign.

    • Charles Almon

The AG’s job is neither to protect the president
      nor do the president’s bidding.
A president no more has HIS AG than he has HIS generals.
      Trump is certifiable.

      • mountie

Your an idiot. I guess you do not to do your bosses bidding. Right your unemployed.

        • Charles Almon

The AG works for the American people.
The president is NOT HIS BOSS

          • Darrel Davidson

            Tell That To O BAMA”S AG’s

          • Charles Almon

            You lose.
            WHataboutism , ALWAYS loses.

          • MARX-INE WATERS CRAZY

Exactly, that turd is still illegally inciting violence! I guess Guns for DRUG Lords wasn’t devastating enough!

          • Martha Serafini

The problem seems to be that Trump is a ‘wanna be’ dictator….not to mention he doesn’t have a clue as to the Constitutional role of the DOJ.

          • Roger

            Actually he is you moron!

        • Martha Serafini

          “You’re” an idiot–not your an idiot….”you’re” unemployed—not your unemployed.
Example: You make a better case when YOU’RE able to put together a complete sentence when YOU’RE calling someone else an idiot.

          • mountie

You’re correct but it saved me two keystrokes each time and I figured the person to whom I was replying wouldn’t know any better

      • Chris Robinette

I guess you have no job at all, do you DA?

        • Martha Serafini

Why do you care if someone who posts here has a job? Are you looking for one?

          • Chris Robinette

Did I even address you in any form or fashion? If I address you directly like I did to Charles Almon they please respond, if not keep your trolling comments to yourself.

          • Martha Serafini

Can you spell “P-U-B-L-I-C S-I-T-E?” yea, that would be the site you posted on. jerk.

      • ahrcshaw

It is not a case of doing the presidents bidding, I personally think a lot of citizens are waiting for some warrants concerning the deep state “soft coup”, do you not agree? Are you not concerned that people in government are using their positions to curb your rights as a citizen? What you say is doing the presidents bidding, has affected a number of citizens an you could be one of them!

        • Charles Almon

There is no such thing as the deep state.
          THat’s your first problem

          • Robert Marshall

Charles, you are delusional as all the liberals are. Do yourself favor – shut up.
“It is better to be thought a fool than to open ones’ mouth and remove all doubt”. In your case – TOO LATE!

          • Charles Almon
          • JohnWayne

You are one of the many American FOOLS that vote but have absolutely no idea why you voted the way you did.

          • ahrcshaw

Some times people have closed minds and do not want to know anything, is that why you do not know about the “soft coup” or the “deep state”? even the liberal news media acknowledges its existence. When you decide to independently think for a “CHANGE”, tex me back, but do not bother me with rubbish.

          • Martha Serafini

Uh, no–abc, nbc, cbs, bbc, npr, pbs, cnn or any of the written sources that the rest of us access for facts do not believe there is a deep state or a soft coup….unless you count the nyt op-ed written by a trump admin person who wrote that they are keeping trump from causing damage by internally manipulating his access to information, and not following many of his directives. That’s an issue both Dems and Repubs criticize—but that also is someone who identifies themselves as a trump appointee, not a Democrat. Those are real facts. Not Trump TV from Fox.

          • ahrcshaw

If you did not have tunnel vision you would see that what the congressional committee have reviled about the corruption in the FBI, DOJ and CIA and paid attention to what they have exposed, you would not make such a statement. But then again maybe you are right in that there is not “soft coup” (whatever that means) nor a “deep state”, but there sure as hell is a planned illegal attempt to not only defy, but to unseat an elected POTUS. I do not know what laws are being broken, but I do know Sessions is either blind, being bribed, or totally out of sink when it comes to the Russian Collusion witch hunt. He is also seemingly not interested in Hillary’s acts either. Seems to me if he is a staunch Republican, looking into some of the dirt the Democrats are shoveling out would be of interest to him. I really care less about “which political party thinks” I care about the illegal use of government agencies power to control elections and/or illegally use their positions to create obstruction, or tyranny. I care less about any Media source as they all seem to be opinion oriented and not news worthy.

          • Martha Serafini

I do not have tunnel vision. What congressional committee are you talking about…you mean the House Committee that Devin Nunes chaired and recused himself from because he was working for the WH and taking committee info directly there for their review? He got busted for that and had to recuse himself—then injected himself once again and ignored his own recusal. That committee was disbanned without calling witnesses for follow-up, without taking necessary statements under oath, without specific subpoenas needed and was totally dismissed as a failure, even by the Senate Judiciary Committee headed by Senator Burr (R). Nunes has been a total chump and abdicated his role as a chair head. That’s why you heard so much garbage from Nunes and minions like Gaetz who spewed garbage to discredit Mueller and protect Trump from the FBI investigation. They have demonstrated no desire to get at the truth.
The NYT op-ed stating there were people in the Trump admin who are actively trying to protect the country from Trump was written by an anonymous Trump appointee, and was criticized by both parties for admitting to manipulating Trump’s access to information and decisions that might cause damage, usurping the president’s authority (unconstitutional).
Sessions has enacted several Trump policies (immigration, going after marijuana shops, ICE). Trump wants Sessions to go after his political enemies. That is against the DOJ and AG’s role per the Constitution. They cannot go after political enemies unless there is a legal foundation to open an investigation. That is not up to the president to decide. The AG and DOJ are not supposed to be entrenched in party — they are supposed to be apolitical and dictated by the letter of the law and the Constitution….not the president or a political party. That’s why Sessions has not done anything about going after Clinton, Obama, Strzok, McCabe, Gates….all the people Trump wants to go after. There is no legal rationale for Sessions to do that so it would not be legal. You are only exposing yourself to the Trump version of these events. As much as I think Sessions is a bigoted creep, he cannot do the president’s bidding without breaking the law, and he knows it.

          • ahrcshaw

Maybe I used the wrong term (tunnel vision) maybe I should have use “thinking or reasoning” instead. Can you tell me a few names of those from the FBI, DOJ, or CIA that have either been fired or lost their security clearances because of doing illegal acts while preforming their assigned tasks? I care less what your political party affiliation is, I am concerned about Oblaimer et al disregarding the law, or minipulating their authority, or staging a conspiracy, or what ever you want to call it. “soft coup” “deep state”, BS, it is a pre planned conspiracy to manipulate an election, and/or unseat an elected POTUS. Actually it is not much different then What the Democrats are doing to Mr Kananaugh, since when has the blind lady presumed someone was guilty without being charged for a crime? It would be nice for a “CHANGE” if some of those so called elected officials in Congress would consider the Constitution rather then creating lynch mobs. Can you honestly tell me I am not right? This is the new Socialist method of accruing their power, accusations with out legal proof. Think of this for more then your normal short span conclusions.

For socialism to take over this country, three things are necessary to control by the government. (1) Education (2) the Media and (3) the Judicial system. And yes, the votes, (illegals). These tyrant obstructions moves the Democrats are doing is proof, what the FBI the DOJ and other Bureaucratic agencies conspired to do is also proof, that their is a specific goal they are after. Tell me I am wrong!

          • JohnWayne

            YOU’RE AN IDIOT

          • Martha Serafini

It is so amazing to me that these posts take no note that if all these supposed “deep state” people were so guilty, why wouldn’t the Repubs, who are running every branch of the government, not have them all indicted in a hot minute. They have nobody stopping them. Look at all the other laws being trampled on and signed away with nobody to stop them. Why in hell wouldn’t they arrest them? Oh, wait a minute, maybe it has something to do with not having committed any crime. Duh.

          • Roger

There has always been a deep state AKA people working to undermine the government!

          • ahrcshaw

Seems like you have the ability to write, is your problem reading? Only a narrow short minded short sighted delusional person does not want nor realize what harm the DOJ, FBI, or CIA deep state bureaucrats from both parties are doing to destroy this country and its Constitution. Do not bother responding to my comment because what ever you have to say is pure BS.

        • Roger

Anyone that doesn’t believe Obama knows everything about the fake Russian dossier is just plain dumb! Obama was the puppet master, and Loretta Lynch and James Comey and everyone below them were his puppets. One text message between, Peter Strzok and Lisa Page even stated that the president (Obama) wants to know everything we are doing.
This was nothing short of election rigging by Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, Loretta Lynch, James Comey, Hillary Clinton and others, these people need to be arrested and prosecuted:
Current FBI director Christopher Wray, Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, Huma Abedin, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Susan Rice, James Comey, Peter Strozk, Lisa Page, Andrew McCabe, Rod Rosenstein Robert Mueller (Uranium one) Eric Holder (Fast and Furious) and Barack Obama and many more belong in prison! Every one of them needs to be arrested and prosecuted for treason against the American people and the United States of America!
Because John Kerry (a civilian) is trying to usurp the power of the president he gets added!
Firing or allowing these criminals to step down and collect pensions paid for by the American people must stop and it must stop now! No one is above the law!
It is time to shut down the Mueller witch hunt! It has been well over a year and I keep hearing some idiots in congress say let him do his job! How long is that going to take! One more year, two years, five years, 10 years or a hundred years and what is the cost going to be? One million, two million, 5 million, 10 million, 100 million, a billion or more? Mueller doesn’t even know what his job is!!!!! This investigation wast started on hearsay and a lie and not only should it be shut down immediately it should never have been started!

Investigate this Sessions! I believe Sessions is afraid someone will corner him and kick his little ass if crosses them!

          • ahrcshaw

I could not say any better then what you just stated. I have been saying Obama set this up just month or so before leaving office. I vividly remember him coming on TV and stating he want a report on Russian Collusion and Trumps involvement, just before he left office to cover his ass. He and his gang of ????? had long before this announcement had already started their underhanded methods. It is all part of the “Grand Stand” approach to World Order and Socialism that he port raid through out his 8 year administration. Open border, for votes and total domination of power in this country. The Socialist Progressive Liberal Democrats have three (3) goals to socialism: Control (1) the educations system, (2) the media and (3) the judicial system which in turn enables them capable of complete Socialist control of this country. It is that simple.

          • Roger

He set this up in 2012 starting with the cover up of what really happened in Benghazi!

          • ahrcshaw

Either then, or when all of them were involved with the Russian Uranium deal! All the leading players were involved. Mueller, Rosenstein, Hillary, Bill, Brennan, and Oblaimer. As I recall it seems like Comey was mentioned as well. Also the NASA leaks involving Brennan and Clapper was in high gear because of the spying on American citizens. In any case, we are right, this is not a “soft coup”, it is a determined plan to destroy our Constitution and democratic sovereignty.

          • Martha Serafini

Wow—-your version of reality is almost verbatim what is put forward by Trump, Hannity, Ingraham, and lest we forget, “Q” and Alex Jones. You have really bought into the alternate reality they’ve created for the Trump base. I’m consistently amazed to read how far that 40% that makes up his base have internalized this fiction….right down to the details. Thankfully, the vast majority of Americans have exposed themselves to various reliable news sources both here and abroad to keep informed of what is real.
The country is being run by Repubs in the WH-Senate-Congress-DOJ, yet you really believe they just allow all these criminals involved in this deep state conspiracy to just run around free…..even though they would love nothing more to indict everyone if there was even the smallest hint of something they could hang on them. Get real. That doesn’t even make sense.

          • Roger

Nor do you, who talks for hours and says nothing!

          • Martha Serafini

I say a whole lot—-but you do need a bit of an intellectual ability to understand it…….so, I can see where you might struggle.

      • Dennis Anderson

That thing that`s got lip stick on it has got to be your asshole all you democraps are high-high-high.

      • Rolland Blodgett

The AG, Sessions, failed in his job to bring an investigation from allegations of criminal wrongdoing by Clinton, Comey, ex-FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, former Attorney General Loretta Lynch, former acting Attorney General Sally Yates, former acting Deputy Attorney General Dana Boente and FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page.

        • Martha Serafini

Sessions is a bigoted bad man who has done more to promote Trump’s policies then possibly any other cabinet member. If there was one, tiny possibility that Sessions had anything on the people you name (all Trump enemies-not criminals) he would have had them indicted immediately. That would be a gold ribbon from Trump. The one and only thing that could stop Sessions from doing that is…..get ready……..There are no crimes committed. The perceptions you have are from Trump and his news sources (Breitbart, Nat’l. Enq., Fox) and are not based in facts.
Use a little common sense. It is absurd to believe that in a Repub. WH,– with a Repub. Senate,– Repub. House, and Repub. DOJ, if any of those people were indictable on any level for any issue–they would be indicted, in a hot minute. That would be a feather in Sessions hat. But, if there is no crime, there is no indictment. What crimes do you believe any of these people committed? Sally Yates? Because she ratted out Flynn when he was lying? Strzok and Page were investigated and neither were found indictable for any crime–only bad judgment. Loretta Lynch? McCabe? Boente? Repubs. haven’t even tried to investigate or pursue any type of charges. Don’t you even ask yourself why Repubs haven’t pursued indictments if there were really crimes committed? They would LOVE nothing more. Get real. That is not rational thinking.

      • Roger

Sessions is a joke and you are an idiot! Sessions said he won’t bow yo political pressure but political pressure is why he recused himself, so you are right he is certifiable, a certifiable LIAR!

        • Martha Serafini

Sessions recused himself because he consulted with DOJ legal authorities who told him he had no choice. He was obligated to recuse himself because he was on the 2016 campaign that Mueller is investigating. Conflict of interest. Not that complicated or easy to see.

          • Roger

There is no mandatory recusal! Remember Loretta Lynch?

          • Martha Serafini

“No choice” in the sense that Sessions was counseled by his legal team and that’s what they told him was the legally correct decision. Not recusing himself would have been inappropriate given he was a member of the campaign. He can’t legitimately over see the investigation of a campaign he participated on.

          • Roger

But Mueller can after being turned down for FBI director by President Trump and is also associated with Hillary Clinton!

          • Martha Serafini

Mueller’s reputation has been called stellar from both sides of the aisle, not to mention he’s a life long Republican. Even hardcore Repubs (other than the ones who are Trump’s minions, like Nunes) support Mueller. He’s not connected to Clinton…..where did you get that? Let me guess, the only person who would benefit from making something like that up is Trump. He says anything that will potentially discredit Mueller because he’s getting too close for comfort. Go do some research on Mueller’s career and reputation. I guarantee you that Hillary Clinton is not tied to Mueller. That’s a Trump TV lie (one of many) with no basis in fact.

          • Roger

Mueller is a moron, he has been investigating Russian collusion for 20 months and has found NOTHING!

          • Martha Serafini

Trey Gowdy and his Republican committee spent two years investigating H.Clinton and came up with zero indictments. With Paul Manafort’s new plea deal to cooperate with Mueller, Mueller’s team has now indicted or gotten guilty pleas from:
Four Trump advisers, 26 Russians, 3 Russian companies, with 6 (including now all four former Trump aides) having pled guilty. Flynn, Manafort, Papadopolous, and Gates.
If you also count investigations that Mueller started then handed off to other entities (like NY) in the Justice Department, you can add plea deals from two more people to the list.
Mueller is closing in on Trump. He has given immunity to the Nat’l Enq. head who did the Playboy Bunny deal with Cohen and Trump; and given immunity to the Chief Financial Officer of the Trump Organization who worked for Trump’s father and continues to run the whole Trump organization. Cohen has pleaded guilty in NY and named Trump as an unindicted co-conspirator to campaign fraud violations (paying off the porn star and playboy bunny just prior to the election) and NY is also suing Trump’s Foundation and its board (Ivanka, Eric and Donnie) for misusing donations to their foundation. Trump is accused of using donations to the Foundation for buying personal art and paying off legal debts. As Mueller works his way up the ladder, he gets smaller fish to flip on the bigger ones. He has handed off the smaller issues to be prosecuted by NY which also was done to prevent Trump from using his presidential pardon to get his people off. Trump can’t do that for state prosecutions. Mueller is now at the level where the Trump children will be the likely next focus, maybe with Roger Stone in there as well. And Remember, just like the Clinton investigation with a special prosecutor, Ken Starr started off investigating the Whitewater, but it turned into a Monica Lewinsky affair. Likewise, Mueller has the ability to pursue anything that surfaces. And who doesn’t believe that Trump has been involved in shady deals for the greater part of his 70 years.
So, yea, I’d say Mueller is racking up some pretty big fish in 20 months. So, when you say Mueller has nothing, you really aren’t operating on a factual basis. It’s amazing what you can learn when you stop allowing fox news and Trump to tell you what is real.

          • Chris Robinette

Well, didn’t Loretta Lynch have a legal team as well and did they or did they not counsel her to NOT meet with Bill Clinton during the time Comey was investigating her illegal private server?

          • Martha Serafini

That was a spontaneous event. Clinton showed up and went aboard.

          • Chris Robinette

And she could have easily have shut him out.

          • Martha Serafini

Yea, I can see how easy it would be to turn away the ex-president who decides to board your plan. Kind of like Trump telling Saudi Arabian royalties NOT to stay at his his hotels because it violates the emoluments clause of the Constitution, and because it looks really bad for a president to make money from foreign entities while being the president. I guess he could have turned them away, too. Like, what la-la-land do you exist in?

          • Chris Robinette

Two very different situations but you feel they are the same when not. Sign of delusional thinking, but you will come up with something to make it right in your mind. so I will not bother with a devout follower of the Obama/Killary sect. Good bye..

          • Martha Serafini

I get it. Facts are scary to you. Hurry — run!

          • Chris Robinette

No I just do not waste my time with closed minds blinded by lies from liberal democraps.

          • Martha Serafini

Yea you do…….you’re probably surrounded with closed minds blinded by lies. Look at your ‘leader,’ he’s the most prolific pathological liar in modern history…but I bet you slop up every stupid lie he spews. Surrounded by liars….but you don’t even have a clue. Now that’s a waste of time.

          • Martha Serafini

…and if you believe it’s such a waste of time…..than it’s pretty ridiculous that you can’t stop yourself from continuing to respond. Duh.

          • Sam I Am

            Then, stupid…not ‘than’.

          • 2Deep4_U

It is to a DUMBASS white supremacist.

      • Joe Cobl

Somebody should have told obummer about that since holder reported to him on a daily basis asking what he wanted done about every new issue!!!
Holder was in obama’s pocket to pull out as needed. If obama stopped abruprtly holder bumped into him!!

        • Martha Serafini

What are your examples and what are your sources……..your statement lacks anything substantive, except in making you sound like an adolescent –maybe 10 or 11 years old. Is that all you’ve got?

          • Chris Robinette

That would be EARLY adolescent which is 11 to 13 so please keep your statements accurate.

          • Martha Serafini

Are you for real? You feel the need to specify the the difference between and early adolescent and an adolescent? Gee that’s relevant….to nothing. Textbook insecurity, correcting others when it’s totally irrelevant to anything. Also, I recall you objecting to my responding to a post not addressed to me….but that’s o.k. for you, huh? Hypocrisy added to insecurity. Yea, we all need to pay attention to your deep insights.

          • Chris Robinette

Well, it seems like you keep correcting others. But why bother with a failure like you.

          • Martha Serafini

Even your attempts to diss me are pathetic and make no sense. Since you have no information to formulate your assessment of me, I assume you project your own inadequacies onto me. That’s sad too.

          • Chris Robinette

Hilary lost so get over it. Trump is president, accept it.

          • Martha Serafini

And there’s the “go to” line when you can’t come up with anything else. Two years later, and you’re still using the same old, tired line. Clearly, it’s you that can’t get over it. The only people still talking about Hillary Clinton are deplorables…..of which, I assume, includes you, as you still use the spoon-fed crap from 2016, without the ability to come up with anything relevant. Maybe you need to start talking about ‘early adolescent’ being different than ‘adolescent’ again. Maybe it will at least take up some white space when you have nothing else.

  • That feckless elf is the key to the sewer rats ability to harass and threaten the Trump
Presidency . He’s allowing Rat Rosenstein to direct the treasoness overthrow effort.

SESSIONS GET THE HELL OUT NOW!!

    • Martha Serafini

Sessions has done a lot to carry out Trump’s agenda on several levels from a DOJ standpoint. Issues like the Muslim bans and zero tolerance (separation of children and parents, etc). I hate the dude, but he cannot do the president’s bidding. It’s unconstitutional. Sessions was told (by DOJ lawyers) he legally had to recuse himself because he was part of the Trump campaign; he could’t oversee an investigation of a campaign he was part of. Think about it—it makes sense. Sessions is not “allowing Rosenstein” to do anything. Rosenstein’s is legally obligated to carry out the supervision of Mueller because Sessions was forced to recuse himself. How can you guys post so much about stuff you don’t get? Clearly you have strong feelings about it, but if you don’t understand the context of why this stuff happens, how can you judge it to be wrong or right?

  • John T. Koszalka

    The Attorney General should let the Country know what is going on, with his limited input. We should give him a specific time to answer our request, if he remains mute he should resign. Right now he gives the appearance that he’s covering with stalling tactics for the good old boys, and girls in the deep state. It’s time to report to WE THE PEOPLE aka {THE DEPLORABLE ONE}

  • Forever American

If he can’t get motivated, time to go.

  • Joe Cobl

As Pres. Trump has said if he had known Sessions was going to recuse himself he never would have slated him!!
Jeff Sessions is totally responsible for the Russai hoax. Allowing an obama holdover to run the Justice department
is truly installing the fox in the hen house. Trump has enjoyed many stunning political victories in spite of having a
day by day battle with Muellar and his team of 16 democrats trying desperatly to prove his Russian collusion. After
almost 2 years and still no proof of a crime it is way over due to fire Muellar and his henchmen. The illegal Fisa dossier
was to prosecute a crime that Muellar’s team is still trying to find. First there must be a crime then a prosecution. Instead
we have had 2 years of harrasing and investigating the backgrounds of various office holders hoping to convict and
then extend immunity to provide evidence against Trump!! The dirtiest type of politics democrats thrive on!!!!!

      Agree, well said

    • metheoldsarge

What else would you expect from a RINO?

    • Martha Serafini

No proof of a crime? Seriously? Paul Manafort, Mike Flynn, Rick Gates, George Papadopolous, and Cohen would all differ with you.
Trey Gowdy (R) spent over two years trying to find one possible indictment against Hillary Clinton, and after millions of dollars and man-power, he came up with nothing. Mueller has been winding his way up the ladder of corruption surrounding Trump. He’s now at the point that the next rung of the ladder is Don Jr. Not to mention the investigations Mueller has started, then handed off to Virginia and New York. And, let’s not forget the Russian oligarchs and companies that have been indicted. Do you know that Mueller has taken over enough financial assets from these people to pay for the investigation? You need to pull your head out of the sand and deal with just how dirty the entire Trump entourage is. You’d be smart to do that before Mueller is done, because it’s going to get really messy when Trump’s house of cards begins to crumble.
The fisa process has been determined to have been appropriate, having layers of sign-offs all the way up the ladder in the DOJ. This process is very structured and meticulous. Even Gowdy is quoted as saying the FBI handled it just as they should have. It was not not illegal. That was a desperate attempt by Devin Nunes that backlashed on him when it was investigated. Another Nunes lie: The Steele dossier was not what started the investigation. Carter Page’s behavior overseas was what started it when he was talking too much after drinking in London, about knowing about who had Hillary Clinton’s emails. Facts matter.

Remove Sessions now it is obvious that he cannot do his job.

  • Name

Sessions, if you can’t or won’t do your job get out and let Trump put someone in that will. You have already destroyed your legacy.

Make America HATE AGAIN reelect Trump.

      • Martha Serafini

His 70 years of thuggery, deceit and bigotry is catching up to him. Patience, my dear.

        • 2Deep4_U

          SHOW YOU’RE RIGHT…

    • Martha Serafini

One big issue in firing Sessions (which everyone thinks will be after the midterms) is who Trump could find to replace him. I think that would be a pretty rough gig for anyone to want to take on, and they would have to be confirmed.

  • Jim Kellely

“Granny” should have been canned as soon as he recused himself! Get on back to Alabammy!

  • Sandy

If Sessions was even partially doing his job he would fire Rosenstein now, especially after the latest info about him wanting to wire tap President Trump. He should resign, it appears that he doesn’t want to do the job anyway – he just wants to block our President at every turn. Fire both of them.

    • Martha Serafini

Sessions is running the DOJ. If he were to fire Rosenstein, his ass would be in a sling in a hot minute—not to mention Sessions would have to find a reason to justify it. These new charges (somehow leaked mysteriously) are inviting Trump to fire Rosenstein, but he’s nervous about this action being added to the evidence of his other attempts to obstruct the investigation (like firing Comey). Firing Rosenstein is not an option for Sessions. It would be suicidal. It would have to be Trump, if he’s willing to chance it not being added to the obstruction case.

  • parthenon1

The Donald will eliminate Sessions after mid terms plus most likely Rosenstein as well good riddance !

    • Martha Serafini

Keep in mind that these two people who you think are so horrible are Republican Trump appointees.

      • parthenon1

To err is human but if he keeps these people on the jobs that are too big for them is twice as wrong correct the error and go on !

        • Martha Serafini

His administration turn-over breaks 250 years of this country’s history. Most have left amid spending/government waste scandals, ethical scandals, moral scandals or have been indicted for breaking the law. “To err is human?” Is that what you call all the people he was going to bring in to “drain the swamp” that ended up being one big swamp-monster of scandal? Yeah, right. You sure do have a double standard when it comes to rationalizing bad behavior for some but not others. Convenient.

          • parthenon1

The man is used to having subornates who can take charge in their areas, too many government empolyees are not a efficient as private industry people. Trump prefers the latter who are given tasks and expected to give the leader what they desire by using their skills ! Sessions isnt up for the job. Also there are a good many enemies of the president in the FBI, Justice, CIA, and through out government Trump will sooln get his desifred skilled people imn the reight job as soon as he roots out the Obama spies and gets people who are working for the American people and no some underground ex president who failed and cant get out of the way! So I say fire every one in the way and hire people who are producing!

          • Martha Serafini

So, the way you rationalize all the Trump administration firings and resignations because of scandals and ethics charges, domestic violence charges, excessive waste and spending, not to mention Manafort, Gates, Flynn, Papadopoulos, who now are in major legal trouble—-is because government employees aren’t as efficient as private industry people? Really.

  • ahrcshaw

I do not think Sessions is so dumb or blind as to not see what is happening, so one wonders what Mueller or Rosenstein has on him? Anyone who has half a brain can see this whole witch hunt is a concerted effort to obstruct and undermined a legally elected president, regardless of what party! The news plays it down calling it a “soft coup”, when in fact it is well thought out larger the life coup to overthrow the administration. Warrants should have been issued long ago, as well as indictments for criminal charges, and you can add Kerry’s undermining negotiations to the list of warrants.

    • Martha Serafini

Paranoia can mess you up. Sessions is and always has been an entrenched Republican with very conservative leanings and the record to back it up. Your assertion that Sessions is part of some deep state conspiracy is laughable. If he had even the slightest reason to think he could indict a Democratic leader for anything, nothing could stop him. He would have the support of the Senate, the House and the WH….all Republican controlled. It would the ultimate in job security. There is nothing to indict. There is no deep state. There can only be warrants issued if there is a crime. The only possible soft coup is whoever the Trump appointed person is who wrote the op-ed saying that Trump is unfit as president, so people in the WH are taking things into their own hands. Mueller and Rosenstein are both life-long Republicans, and Rosenstein was Trump-picked. Your perspective makes no sense at all, and is not believed by anyone on the planet but your little 40% base. It has been de-bunked a hundred times in a hundred ways. Stop with all the paranoid thinking. You make yourself sound so dumb.

trump should fire this communist AG. he is involved from the beginning. first he purposely took AG position to vacate senate seat he held; second he knew demorat doug jones will win that will diminish republican majority to keep trump agenda from thriving; third, he recuse himself knowing he will commit perjury by allowing con-artist rosenstein and muellah ruining trump presidency. so far his game plan not working out. he will be in orange jumpsuit with black exusurper, killary, kerry and the gang of sevem (was eight RINO.after trailtor McPain vaporized) vote republican this 2018 or you end up in bread line when illegal take your job. vietnam purple heart recipient bien hoa AFB 3 FMS 1967-68 tet offensive. MAGA MAGA MAGA

    • Martha Serafini

Dude, you’re lost. I mean—your entire theory is nonsensical. Jeff Sessions a communist? Wow, I can’t stand Sessions, but he’s a hard-core, life-long conservative southern republican. He was a huge Trump supporter throughout the campaign, which is why Trump made him AG. How do you think Sessions knew Doug Jones would win his seat? Nobody made that prediction as it was predicted to go Repub. Sessions had to recuse himself because he was on the Trump campaign and that’s what Mueller is investigating–conflict of interest. Sessions was accused of lying to the congressional committee, but that had nothing to do with his recusal. Rosenstein was the deputy AG–a Republican—Trump appointee, which put him in the position of being the person to take over overseeing the investigation. Rosenstein named Mueller after Trump fired Comey. Facts matter.

      • Robert Chow

have you read the communist manifesto by karl marx? i had when i was in junior high class. you try to defend this traitor. what he did to hinder trump so many times show me his hateful character toward trump. you don’t know what you are talking about and from reading your posts, you think you have all the answer. even trump said he should have told him beforehand that he would recuse before the fake russian collusion convent. otherwise he would not have chosen this moron as AG. you are the M13 scumbag hide in sheep wool. get back on the demorat side.

        • Martha Serafini

I can’t stand Sessions. He’s a bigot. He’s a liar. But he is not a traitor. He would love to have Trump’s backing, but he is bound by the Constitutional limitations of his role. Trump doesn’t have a clue about what those limitations are and what the AG’s role is. That’s why he continues to demand things from Sessions that Sessions cannot do. Sessions had to recuse himself because if he didn’t—he would have been forced into it. He could not oversee an investigation of the Trump campaign because he was part of that campaign. He couldn’t have told Trump ahead of time because he doesn’t have a crystal ball that would have told him the future. If Sessions is such a moron, why did Trump choose him as AG? It was his choice.
WTF are you talking about..you are accusing me of being part of M13? That means you don’t have a clue about what M13 is. Really stupid.

  • Berengaria

If AG Sessions is not going to react after Rod Rosenstein’s seditious Stunt, then he Needs to Go.
He can not recuse himself from doing his job, forever!
Even though The DOJ is a SinkHole of Foul Smelling DEMS, AG Sessions is in charge of that SinkHole & he needs to crack the Whip over the DEM RESISTERS!

    • Martha Serafini

What exactly do you think Sessions should do that he is not doing? He cannot fire Rosenstein. He was forced to recuse himself as he couldn’t oversee an investigation of Trump’s campaign when Sessions was part of the campaign—major legal conflict of interest. What are you talking about, “cracking the whip over dem resisters?” WTF does that even mean?
