21K Illegal Aliens Arrested Under Trump So Far

Immigration and Customs Enforcement has ramped-up arrests of illegal aliens during the first weeks of President Trump’s term.

According to newly released statistics by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), originally requested by The Washington Post, arrests of illegal aliens increased 32.6 percent during the first several weeks of the Trump Administration.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested 21,362 illegal aliens from January 20 through March 13, an increase of 5,258 from the same period in 2016.

Nearly 75 percent of those arrested, a total of 17,921, are criminal illegal aliens. The number of non-criminal illegal aliens arrested has more than doubled.

A spokeswoman for ICE said that the focus remains primarily on those who are a danger to the security of U.S., anyone who is in the U.S. illegally can face deportation.

“…As [Homeland Security] Secretary [John F.] Kelly has made clear, ICE will no longer exempt classes or categories of removable aliens from potential enforcement,” spokeswoman Jennifer Elzea said in a statement.

The total number of illegal aliens who have been deported, not just arrested, is down by 1.2 percent compared to the same period last year. Eleza explained it takes time to move forward with deportation proceedings after arresting an illegal alien. Overall, the total number arrested increased by 15 percent compared to the same period last year.

Since President Trump took office on January 20, the apprehension of illegal aliens attempting to enter the United States has decreased by 61 percent, as reported by Breitbart Texas.

The president of the National Border Patrol Council (NBPC), U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brandon Judd, told Fox Business Channel’s Stuart Varney, “the handcuffs are being taken off the law enforcement agents, and we’re putting the handcuffs back on the criminals.”

  • El Razorillo

Let’s make that a daily goal!

  • Niko

The article says anyone in the US illegally can face deportation. Personally ,i feel it should say, anyone in the US will, will, will face deportation. That includes every filthy muslime brought into the US by that illegal alien, dirtbag, piece of shit ,dumbo (ear flapping) obumbo during that filths illegal tenure of 8 years – Put there by the morons that permeate this once great country. We have a looooong way to make this country great again, personally and i am sad to say this ,i do not see a bright future for America…

    • VirgoVince

REMOVE ALL non-Americans FROM ANY country, FROM OUR SOIL, NOW!!
NEVER give in, NEVER give up, BETTER DAYS AHEAD, OPTIMISM, NOT pessimism, ALWAYS!!

      • Niko

Double V ,good to hear from you. I never will give in, but the unfortunate truth is that you and I are supposed to do right by America by our votes but half the country are brain dead morons. The political class in the White House will never make it so… That is why i believe in pessimism, with that outlook then people can strive to make things better and reach the proper goals. When there is optimism ,everyone thinks everthing is rosey and they become complacent and that is what has happened to America. It is like America has had one big massive coronary attack. To me optimism is a fairy tale. Of course, that is just one man’s view.. Thanks fur your text, your opinion and views are always welcome!!!!!.

        • VirgoVince

YES, Niko, I hear you and know where you’re coming from! Also, RIGHT, ‘half the country are brain dead morons’ and not much WE can do about that; I call them the ‘ugly lefturd idiots,’ but WE mean the same ‘half’!
Somehow, WE will survive and live to tell about it!! Thank you, as well!!

          • Niko

You had me rolling with “ugly leftturd idiots” thanks i needed a good laugh. See you around down the road !!!!!.

          • Allen Shaw

            USA for White’s only correct!

  • JC

21K is not enough—that is just a trickle and a very small start

    • Allen Shaw

You are just a foolish thinking person.

Being a American citizen use to be a honor that was bestowed to legal immigrants who earned it as my family did in 1911. When the left cries that being a American citizen is a right and should be given out like candy to anyone just because they crossed our boarder it only diminishes the true honor and responsibility of being a citizen of our once great country. PS. How fair is it to those that actually get in line and immigrate the correct way? So yes, Illegals should be deported.

    • John Flynn

to comment on your “PS”, that is the question my immigrant wife would like to know the answer to. She’s from the Phils and it’s STILL costing me $$$ for her “green card”…the correct way

    • Allen Shaw

I believe you need to be old enough to understand the difference between 1911 and 2011. 1911 all Europeans with very few real requirements for citizenship. No matter what is presented to you, you will be in denial.

Today people get citizenship just as fast; however, many individuals come across the border to work on a temporary bases. They are hired by US citizens who want cheap labor and everyone winks as they say “what they were illegal”.

In 1911 there was no upheaval in the world that allowed any undesired people to get into the nation and there was no one watching the Texas border. You could go back and forth with no one caring one way or the other. Do a little research.

Today, large businesses hire them and pay no real fines for using them.

So you see, you are talking about two separate situations. With as many undocumented individuals residing in this nation there has to be collusion with the authorities.

When they are deported as they were under the Obama Administration, they went to a court to be legally deported. over 2 million were deported. Under the current program, they are being picked up and prevented from working and placed in confinement waiting for a court date that may be two years away. In the meantime they have to be fed and housed at government cost.

Your tax dollars are now being wasted on individual who otherwise would be doing a job that no one else wants.

In reality no more individuals are being deported now then before because they do not have judges to hear the cases.

      T H I N K!

      • got my licence

No upheaval in the world in 1911. You mean like the run up to WW1 , The cleansing in Japan where as anyone that did not believe the emperor was god was killed. Besides we had just dealt with Poncho Viva and his raids on the boarder. There was sever racial tensions, you might look into the Zuit suit riots. You are also severally lacking in the knowledge of what the immigration requirement were in 1911. How about 1, you must have a skill. 2. You can not have a criminal history. 3. You needed a American citizen to be your sponsor that would provide for you during you assimilation. 4. You had to have a clean bill of health. The immigration system is broken but it is the endless delays, forms and BS that has broken it. Those who attempt entering the US correctly are held in place while others cross illegally and are receiving benefits and that is Bull Crap. I would like to point out that you are a little late to the party and your statement about age and understanding leads me to believe you have neither.

          (1898) Spanish-American War 1898.

(1917 – 1918) The United States entered the war in Apr 6,1917.

(1945) The Zoot Suit Riots were a series of attacks in June 1943 in Los Angeles, California,
United States, by white American servicemen stationed in Southern
California against Mexican American youths and other minorities who were
          residents of the city.

(1500) I could not find any references to cleansing in Japan after 1500’s

(1916) Poncho – After clashing with former revolutionary ally Venustiano Carranza, Villa
killed more than 30 Americans in a pair of attacks in 1916. That drew
the deployment of a U.S. military expedition into Mexico, but Villa
eluded capture during the 11-month manhunt

Would you please provide the references that required “all of what you say” for Europeans. You are thinking about a later period of time.

The only problem that people have today is the number of Europeans has been reduced to almost none and the quota is going to other nations.

(1901 -1910) The financial Panic of 1893 led to another 4 year economic depression with 20% rate
in unemployment. Demonstration and protests erupted and there was a
massive backlash against immigration and the government was forced to
take action to restrict immigration still further by passing the 1907
Immigration Act. Between 1901 and 1910 a total of 8,795,386 immigrants
          arrived in the United States.

The Northern European Period: White Only (Except for the Slaves of course)
The United States experienced major waves of immigration
during the colonial era, the first part of the 19th century and from the
1880s to 1920. Many immigrants came to America seeking greater economic
opportunity, while some, such as the Pilgrims in the early 1600s,
arrived in search of religious freedom. From the 17th to 19th centuries,
hundreds of thousands of African slaves came to America against their
will. The first significant federal legislation restricting immigration
was the 1882 Chinese Exclusion Act. Individual states regulated
immigration prior to the 1892 opening of Ellis Island, the country’s
first federal immigration station. New laws in 1965 ended the quota
system that favored European immigrants, and today, the majority of the
country’s immigrants hail from Asia and Latin America.

Now let us talk about illegal immigrants. Most illegal immigrants are employed by citizen of this nation and paid less for their labor. Many businesses hire them. They work in the field and meat packing places. They pay a large amount of money to get to this nation and they have been here a long time. That is why it is so difficult to send them out of this nation. They must go before a judge and there is a 127 federal judge shortage.

When they work for many businesses they pay all of the taxes and Social Security and they know they cannot get any of that money back. They are not eligible for food stamps, unemployment benefits or any other of the benefits available to citizens.

You are concerned about them as well as every one else; however, no one has done anything much about getting them out of this nation, because in fact they are an asset.

          • DemsR Dhimmis

            They are not an asset.

  • CBUJAN

Keep it up President Trump you have a long way to go, 21K is nothing compared to the millions that are here. Get that wall built.

  • Ray Silipino

WOW ! I think, 21 illegals arrested so far? Well; at least there is an attempt at attacking the problem. However, at this rate, by the time these 21 get deported another 1000 of them will have penetrated our boarders. What needs to happen as a minimum at least 1500 a week need to be rounded up and shipped out! Plus President Trump needs to get rid of the Bozo I read about that does not want the Border Patrol to Police approximately 60 miles of open border. As I read the article this individual sounded like he was an “O” holdover! Personnel with that type of attitude need to be put out to pasture with the rest of the employees that do not want to play ball under the new Presidents rules. It is time that the bull gets taken by the horns. My comment is not aimed at one specific group of people but it is directed toward all illegals regardless of their place of origin. What say you?

    • ves

Actually Over 21,000 THOUSAND….. and still way too slow and the numbers are way too small!

  • Big Ed

It’s a damned good start-21,000 down and only 10,980,000 to go. When this job is done we can get started on the real problem-the killers from the Muslim community. The same rules should apply-we allowed them to come here-if they commit any criminal act they are gone. At one point, Trump was saying that any Muslim who committed a criminal act should die and his family should die with him. To me, this is a bridge too far-you cannot kill family for acts of a terrorist. I do think deporting the family of the terrorist would not be out of line. After all, we do not owe them anything. We bring them here, we house them, we feed them and we educate their children. We don’t need more criminals, and particularly murdering thugs. Further, when I say crimes, I don’t mean killing two dozen innocent bystanders in a mall-I mean they committed a crime. Trying to get to ISIS to assist them is a crime. Welfare fraud is a crime. Raping a woman or a young girl is a crime. Beating up someone because he is a Christian is a crime. Do a crime, the whole damned family returns to where their coveted Sharia law is in effect (their home country).

    • rivahmitch

Forget that decades old 11 million figure. It’s been used for way too long. Minimum figure today is probably 14-16 million but noone really knows because the Clintons, Bosh and the muslim/marxist had no interest in an accurate count.

      • PEACEONEARTH

DUDE THERE ARE PROBABLY 25 MILLION ILLEGALS IN LA ALONE

      • DemsR Dhimmis

        21 million

      • ves

Actually over 40 Million ….. the 11 Million was a few decades ago. Their birthrate is unbelievable …. approx every 18 Months to a few years and this goes on until the women can no longer have children …. they start reproducing about 14 just like the welfare queens! The men have multiple women pregnant during the same time period just like the welfare queens and their too lazy to work “men?????” !!!

        • Allen Shaw

All children born in the United States are US citizens. It does not make any difference what you think.

          • ves

            Actually you are incorrect!

          • Allen Shaw

Well don’t just say I am incorrect.

Quote the authority that you are basing your thoughts on.

            Hear is my reading.

            “HANDOUT A
            The Nature of Citizenship and
            Solving Illegal Immigration
Unlike children who are brought to the United States
and do not possess legal residency, children born
to illegal immigrants after they have entered
into U.S. territory are automatically citizens
            under the Fourteenth Amendment.”

  • rick meek

STILL – that leaves about 40 million more to go…..

  • rivahmitch

Gee… Only 600 to 800 times that and the problem will be under control…. BUT, at least it’s a start.

  • dasbunker

    Dam good start.

  • Allen Shaw

Criminals and asylum seekers as well. Don’t look to USA for any kind of relieve unless you are from Europe..

  • Dennis Anderson

If you really think about it this is really criminal and Obama should have his ass behind bars for this. How is it this slime has gotten away with this. In my minds eye this was planned from the get go. I would shoot him for free.

  • DemsR Dhimmis

Only 21 million more to go

    • Allen Shaw

      See above
